I ordered custom made French doors on June 30. After several delays, the doors were finally completed on August 13. I scheduled time for them to be installed on August 19. Then I learn today that the order was placed wrong, the exterior side is unfinished, and they cannot be installed because it is raining. This is after making several visits to the store, having several discussions about the exterior finish(Sandstone), paying for the door in advance($ 3,577), and receiving printout of the order clearly stating the exterior finish should be sandstone. I have been very patient, calling the store to check on status(where I learned the order was delayed, not receiving any communication during the process), and being understanding because this was a custom order. However, now I am infuriated. Update: the door was made correctly. The installer was mistaken about the exterior not being finished. The install is rescheduled to Friday. However, I have heard from the installer twice, and have still not received a call from Home Depot.

Suppose you are looking for a SCREWDRIVER, and suddenly remember that you are out of VODKA. Well, the good news is that THIS Home Depot is about sixty seconds south of Randall’s Wine & Spirits, north branch. But, if you’re just looking for Con-tact paper to line the kitchen drawers, you’ll find that, too. The staff member who pointed me in the right direction was friendly, and the cashier was exceptionally patient with a grandmother(in line in front of me) who wanted to write a check. I couldn’t find vacuum cleaner bags(didn’t see any small appliances). But that’s a minor thing. Access is off I-270 from New Hall Ferry’s Road.
