Staff is honest and helpful. Wana get you on the perfect bike for you. Checked out my bike for me on my commute home for free when it was acting up.

Everyone who works at the Hub is super friendly and will help you out any way they can. The 2 head honcho’s Alex and Ron run a great shop and always make sure you leave satisfied and aren’t left with a hole in your wallet. The mechanic staff are all knowledgeable and work your repairs very quickly. You can’t go wrong taking whatever you have, be it your everyday cruiser, mountain bike, or your road racing bike, here to get worked on.

I went to The Hub to check out bikes for my daughter. They were great. They grabbed a helmet off the rack and allowed my daughter to take a bike out back and practice with it. They answered all my questions and never once were pushy. When we finally came back to buy it, they even tuned my son’s bike up for free. I highly recommend the guys at The Hub.

I recently graduated from a Specialized Hybrid bike to a road bike. I have been to REI, Mesa, Urban Shark and The Hub. After a Saturday morning trailnet ride, I decided to test drive a few bikes at the The Hub. I test drove a Giant and Scott. I am in between a S(51) and M(54) frame, the two bikes i test drove i wasnt too happy with because it was a womens 51 felt too cramped and a mens 54 felt to stretched out! My hubby was dropping off his road bike for a tune up too. I test drove a specialized bike after that and i was pretty much set to go ahead and buy that. But I wanted to give Hub another shot since I absolutely love their customer service! Went back to pick up my hubby’s bike and Ron(one of the owners) said i could test drive a higher model Scott with a womens frame… now i had a real problem in my head… Specialized or Scott! I took a week to mull over this life-changing decision… and decided to go with a Scott bike from The Hub! When we went to order the bike Alex(one of the owners) was there and was patient and helpful while i chose the mens scott bike(i liked the color better) with a women’s seat, womens handlebars, changed the thread on the bars to black, added the front breaks like the ones on my hybrid… the next day my beautiful bike was ready to be picked up!!! he helped me choose the right bike shoes and pedals, and let me practice clipping in and out till i could do it without looking down… the overall experience was AWESOME!!! i did not feel rushed, i felt like they really listen and work with you so you can have the best riding experience!

I am not a bike guy. I just wanted a bike to tool around Forest Park or the KATY Trail on pretty days. I tried a couple bikes from Target that made me rethink even wanting to bike. I avoided going to a «Bike Shop» because I thought I would regret paying $ 500 for a bicycle. Well I bought a $ 650 bike in May and now consider it one of the best deals I ever got. It real important you get the bike you want, not the one that is on sale and it’s important that it fits. The Hub is the bike shop to do that.

Truly a full service shop. They contribute to the community as well as cater to families with children all the way up to the seasoned racers.

You will not find a better bicycle shop in the St Louis area. All the employees are friendly, down to earth people who really know their bike stuff. The shop is not as glitzy as some, but their service is second to none. They are my «go to» bike shop. There may be another shop or two who approach the level of customer service and expertise you will find at The Hub, but you will certainly not find one better.

We have purchased three bikes from the hub. I know they have some top line racing bikes but they also have the casual user bikes too. All of our bikes are Giant. The owner, Ron, is usually there and he helped my kids with their bike selection then tuned it up and adjusted it just for them, won’t get that at wal-mart.

I’ve been here a lot for parts and service and have yet to have a bad experience. The owners are great guys that will help you find the best value for your budget, whether it’s wheels, pedals, gloves or bike. Good selection of bikes from racing to kids too. I don’t go anywhere else now and recommend checking them out even if you’re not in the area.

I’ve bought two bikes at the Hub this year, and I couldn’t be happier. Ron and his staff are very friendly and knowledgable. They sold me great products, and their service has always been top notch. I’ve used them for about four years. I recommend the Hub Bicycle Company to all.

A cyclist’s bike shop. Down to earth bike dudes with answers to your questions. None of the ‘hipster’ attitude(although some of the employee’s could be considered ‘hipsters’). Good selection of bikes and gear at reasonable bike shop prices. My transaction was easy and trouble free. Definitely worth a look if you need a new bike

In the scheme of the dozens and dozens of bike shops I have known, The Hub is a truly great bicycle shop. I knew this as soon as I saw their xtracycle(picture a bike with more junk in the trunk) mounted with coffee cup holders for morning fix trips, but it wasn’t confirmed until I watched them work with my friend as she bought her first bike. I love bikes and bike shops, but I’ve seen my share of elitist, unapproachable shops out there in St. Louis and many in the Northeast. I think this shop takes the cake for being the MOST approachable bike shop I have been to, and also one of the most professional. My friend was not spending much on a bike. In my experience, patrons that are not spending over a grand on the bike often get short-changed in the service department and do not have their bikes properly fitted. Not only did they spend hours letting her test bikes but they fit the bike perfectly for her. I was really impressed with their service. I’ve never personally purchased a bike from them, but I have bought multiple parts and plenty of gear from them and the owner fixed my bottom bracket on my road bike for free one day(it was the same day I brought my friend to purchase a bike– perhaps he was grateful). They are friendly, instructive and have a great bike selection. «Woohoo» is right
