Been here a few times now and part from the all you can eat crab legs, I’m not a big fan. The sushi is very bland, the meat(turkey last night) was dry, and the desserts — although they look great — are very average. Gelato is very nice however. First time I ate here, the service was terrible(and it wasn’t busy either). One soda refill in 2+ hours. Last night service was great. Also, first time eating here there were oysters and mussels on the buffet. They seem to have disappeared. Save your $‘s and go to Golden Corral.

If you enjoy buffet style eating you’ll love it. If you’re into delicious quality food and presentation you should really pass. I’ve been forced here several times(because I’m just a team player like that) and I’ve gotten it down on how to maneuver the place. If you’re here for breakfast head straight to the omelette station and have the cook prepare what you like on the fly. Its quick, fresh and made especially for you(remember to tip). Oh and request like oil or it’ll be sopping with grease. Next head around to the waffle station and order a half waffle(a whole one is just glutinous) don’t forget the house-made whipped cream which is stellar for buffet standard. Finally, hit the fruit bar and load up on melons(berries can be brought out at your request). If you’re in for dinner you’re out of luck completely. Unless however it’s crab night! Then you’re WINNING. It’s all you can eat crab legs, not bad for the price(although I’m not sure what the price was; sorry… I’m starting to question this review). The staff is decently pleasantly. The hostess could use an attitude adjustment but whatever it’s not fine dining. Patronize at your own risk. Christy warned you. *see my Lumiere Place review for photos

There’s’ nothing I like doing more on my birthday than putting on a pair of sweatpants and enjoying a good crab leg buffet. The wait is pretty long, sometimes an hour and a half, so get there early. It’s only something that I do once a year, and satisfying my love of crab legs makes up for it, because when I order crab legs at a normal restaurant, it doesn’t get satisfied. Most places will usually bring you a pound, and I always leave feeling like I could have eaten about three. That’s why you’ve got to go with the all you can eat buffet. Aside from the melted butter dispenser, my favorite part of the experience is that when you leave, the gate that you exit though totally looks like some sort of livestock gate — as if to say you’ve just eaten like a pig, so now we’re going to make you leave through our special piggy door.

So we have been hitting the casino buffets to see who is the best. Overall this was the lower end of the ones we have tried. There were some stand outs the red snapper, brisket, and mashed potatoes. Other than that just wasn’t anything awesome until you reach dessert. Whoever is in charge of the dessert table should get a raise. Carrot cake that was excellent blueberry lemon bars full of flavor and best of all gelato! If I would have know I would have only eaten off the dessert bar for my entire meal.

So me & my mom came here on a Sun, for Easter. There was supposed to be some special items that were advertised, but was not served. I asked about the steak they were supposed to be serving, they were out if those. So it was a little dissapoiinting in the selection area. The pizza was delicious. I also enjoyed the ice cream, strawberry was my favorite. The Chinese food was pretty decent. I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes. & the cornbread was sweet and good. Would like to try again, when there isn’t a crowd, and I get some coupons.

I’ll preface this by saying that I didn’t actually eat here. We paid for our meals, set our things at the table and eagerly picked up our plates, ready to fill them with as much delicious food as we possibly could. Unfortunately, nothing about this place looked delicious. I would compare the quality to Golden Corral, but not quite as good. Same goes for the selection… not quite as good. Major disappointment. We immediately put the plates back down, picked up our things and asked for our money back. If you’re a foodie with any standards at all, STAYAWAY!

Contrary to all the other reviews, I had a great experience at The Kitchen. Very friendly staff who appeared to be having fun and the the food was tasty. Will repeat!

Very good buffet! Not sure why so many negative reviews this was one of the best casino buffets I’ve been to and I’ve been to a few including the ones in Vegas. Buy one get one coupon we got from signing up for players brought two lunch buffets down to $ 16 — Vegetarian and they had some great options. Nice salad bar, delicious pesto alfredo pasta and vegetables just right not overcooked. The desserts in the dessert bar and gelato bar were amazing too. My favorite was the crème brûlée! Not fake-artificial tasting like many buffets. Highly recommend this for lunch and even better if you use the coupon! Friendly and fast service too the waitress asked for our drink order right away and the temperature of the food I had was all hot… Had the asparagus, pesto pasta shells, salad bar, and roasted potatoes, hot tea and dessert.

My brother and I came here yesterday before the Rams game for breakfast/brunch. We had two free buffets, so we decided to give this place a shot. I’m usually not huge on buffets, but I thought this place was pretty good. They have a decent selection of breakfast foods, along with a few lunch items. I was in the mood for breakfast. They have an omelette station. so I had a fresh omelette with bacon and cheese which was great. They also have french toast and pancakes, which were very good as well. I tried some sausage, bacon, ham, and bread as well. I thought everything was pretty good. I wasn’t expecting perfection, mainly because it’s a buffet. You can’t come to a buffet expecting 5 star type quality. They also have a great dessert station. They have several different kinds of ice cream, cakes, cookies, etc. I had a chocolate chip cookie and some ice cream. Everything looked good, but I was so full from everything else that I didn’t have a lot of room left for dessert. I found my experience at this buffet to be very good. My brother agreed, and we both plan on coming back before the next Rams’ game we attend.

It is hard to criticise anything but the wait to get in at the Kitchen Buffet. Under the direction of head chef John Johnson, the food line up has been upgraded in content and flavor. Check the website, there is a theme for each night of the week. My wife and I went tonight(Friday) for Opellio Crab and it was good. Smaller than the King Crab, the Opie, takes a bunch of work to get the smaller amount of suculent meat out. But wow was it fresh and sweet. The variety of items was varied, from steak to seafood to American favorites. The sushi was as good and as fresh as any in this city and my wife loved it. Serving over 4,000 lbs of Crab on a Friday night is a real trick, to ensure that it is hot and fresh tasting and not soggy. There were two downers from an entrée standpoint. The Shrimp Scampi was lacking the depth of flavor and the Grilled Sirloin was tough. The fried chicken(who tries fried chicken at a Crab night?) was spicy but juicy as can be. My biggest mistake was not saving enough room for a lot of dessert. The Gellato was every bit as smooth and delicious as that which we had in Venice, Italy last year. The German Chocolate cake was to die for. I did not have the energy or room to try the 5 other decadent chocolate deserts. I cannot begin to rave enough about the variety and flavors. Is Crab night worth $ 30.00 yes, but not every week, my cardiologist will kill me for putting a straw in the drawn butter. I personally don’t care what the headline item will be, I am headed straight for the deep chocolate gelato.

The only thing amazing at this place after my third visit(I get hungry from my gambling addiction) are the cake pops. I would not pay a penny for this buffet, I always have coupons or comps when I come. I wasted my last $ 10 coupon on this place. We came for brunch $ 20.99 what a rip off! Seriously, if you want cafeteria style goodness that is what you are going to get, you know like the kind you get at grade school. For a casino’s buffet this is the worst I have ever experienced. I have frequented many casino buffets… don’t waste your money here just go to the sushi place its pretty good or the steakhouse attached lumiere’s hotel its fantastic.

This place really needs help the service is good from the waitresses but the kitchen staff is extremely snooty. In fact there was a long line building at the meat cutting station and the chef is just talking to another person inside the kitchen back turned to the customers so RUDE! The main problem really is the food their sushi is ugly! crunchy dried out rice and avocado turned colors that looks like dirt. i vowed this is my last visit. never again i gave them three tries and strike! you are out!

I have been to Lumiere buffet probably ten times over the last year. It’s where we go when we all need to meet somewhere before work. Although a little pricey, quite a bit pricey on weekends, it is an OK buffet. I have had better, but it’s something to do while in the casino if you are hungry. The selection is decent. The sushi tastes like something from a supermarket, but again, it’s not a sushi place. The prime rib is definitely worth trying for sure. That’s probably the best thing on the menu. The shrimp us usually overcooked. The fish is almost always a win. I could go on, but it’s not really going to make your decision any easier. Highlights are the prime rib and desserts. Lows are the sushi and the shrimp. You should get full, and if you don’t you obviously are too picky or your aren’t trying, it is a buffet. :)

Got a free buffet voucher from the Blues game. For $ 18, the quality and quantity were horrible. Nothing was good(they’re all average), and everything seemed really cheap. It seems like the owner only put in a buffet because he/she felt obligated to rather than because he/she wants to. I would’ve been very upset had I actually paid $ 18 for such a disappointing meal. Also, the casino(and consequently the buffet) was very smoky, which is surprising for such a new hotel.

Decided to check out the Lumiere Casino one evening, and eat at the buffet. HORRIBLE experience. We expected the price(around $ 20 per person). But the food, not only in quality, but their selection? For that price, I couldn’t believe it! First off, there was only ONE type of meat to choose from, which was prime rib. I tried a piece, and it tasted as if it had been sitting around all day. Much like most of their food tasted. Everything that I tried that evening tasted like it had been sitting around, and it was all very dry, and tasteless. The desserts looked fabulous. The cookies? Hard as a rock. The pineapple upside down cake? Rubbery. The chocolate mousse? Yeah, that was just jello pudding out of a container. The ONLY good thing on their«buffet» was the mashed potatoes, and you had to scoop from the bottom of the pan, so that you didn’t get all the dried up potato from the top. I was disgusted not only by the food, but they had the audacity to charge TWENTY dollars for it! NEVER again, and I highly recommend that NO one visit their establishment. We went to Golden Corral the next night, and had much better food there! Oh, and something that kinda pissed our group off. They had a sign near the entrance that read«Like us on Facebook, and receive a free buffet!» A bit misleading. You have to sign up for one of their casino cards(which, that’s free, so no biggie). But you cannot sign up for the promotion from your smart phone(either with iPhone or Android, we tried both), so you had to do it on your computer, and come back for the free buffet. I wouldn’t even eat there for free, after our experience, so needless to say, we did NOT sign up when we got to a computer. The only good thing? Parking was free that particular night, because of the World Series being in town.

Went there after reading on their casino web-site they have a steak and lobster buffet on Fridays. Called Wed and asked about it, was limited to 2−1lb Maine lobsters, which was fine by me since it was only $ 30. Drove 40 mins 2 days later, paid for parking and was told as I went to pay that they didn’t have steak and lobster, it was pork served 4 ways. Seriously? Pork after advertising Steak and lobster on the phone and website. After complaining the lady on the phone told me it was still on, cashier said they just changed it for July only but it’s not marked anywhere, she just had to tell people when the came… 2 other couples behind us in line were PO’d too and everyone in line left. Looking in, it obviously couldn’t been all that good because it was absolutely dead on a Friday night at 7:30. Like seating for 300 but 12 people in it dead. It’s still marked lobster on their website even after I told them it was wrong.
