Loved it. Very casual cool neighborhood bar with a reasonable $ 18.99 brunch(free Bloody Mary or Mimosa). Good variety of food with omelette station, carved beef and salmon. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Only been once but had a great bison burger. Cool setting, decent beer list, and off the street parking. I was impressed that they’ve got a black bean burger on the menu of what I had assumed was kind of a meat-eaters-only joint. The waitress I had was great, the manager introduced himself and hung out for a bit. Great staff, decent food, reasonable prices.

After an afternoon at the Botanical Gardens, my family was hungry, but we don’t really know the area well, so we asked someone at the help desk for a recommendation and he sent us here. When we first walked in, I was a little nervous. It looks more like a typical bar environment and we didn’t expect anything more than typical pub fare. However, the menu was surprisingly varied and had some interesting ingredients and dishes. After A LOT of debate, we decided to start with the Spicy Guacamole Bites. I’ve never had warm guacamole, and I was worried about the word spicy, but they were amazing. Not too spicy, and the wonton gave it just enough crunch to go with the creaminess of the guac. I would highly recommend them, and am going to try making something like this at home next time I need to take something to a party! We tried a few adult beverages and my sister liked her glass of Pinot Grigio ok, but my mother did NOT like the Sangria. It tasted like it was some bland fruit punch and wine mixed, not up to par with the rest of the meal. My other sister and I got the Not Your Father’s Root Beer, which I had never tried before. It tasted like root beer mixed with spiced rum, so if you like those flavors I recommend it. I’m also going to try this one at home. I ordered the Brie-L-T Sandwich with the red onion marmalade on the side. I’m glad I did as it was pretty much just flavored raw onion strings and I cannot eat onions. The bacon was crispy and flavorful and the brie gave the sandwich a yummy creamy quality. My only complaints were that it was very thick and hard to eat, and the brie rind was not trimmed off well enough, but I would order it again. My mother ordered the Turkey Club Wrap and thought it was ok, but thought her bacon was a little too fatty. We decided to share sides; I got the Fresh Fruit, she got the House Made Chips. I liked having the fresh sweetness of the fruit at the end of my meal, but the chips were the bigger star here. My sweetie and father had the daily special Chicken Fried Steak meal, which I don’t like & didn’t try, but they both said it was good. One of my sisters ordered the Turkey Reuben, and she really liked it(I didn’t try it as I can’t stand sauerkraut). I wouldn’t mind trying it in future, hold the kraut. My other sister ordered the Cajun Bison Burger which was made from grass-fed bison from nearby Ste. Genevieve, MO. I did sample a bite of the burger and it was delicious. One sister got fries, the other sweet potato fries. While the sweet potato fries were a bit better, the star side still remains the home made chips. All in all, we had a great visit and it by far exceeded it’s first impression. I will definitely go back and try some of the other items & recommend stopping by.

I’ll start by saying, when we walked up sooooo cute. it was my girlfriend bday thought it would a great place for dinner. The food was OK1st we has the hummus and pita. The service was horrrrrible it took the waitress at least 30 min before she even came to the table to take our drink ordes(even with my own bottle of wine) corking fee reasonable. We ask for a sample of beer took another 15 min and then an additional 10 to get a full pint. wowers. still no dinner order. Went to the bar she was great bought us a round because of the wait. The cook brought our food out, hot plates from being under the heat lamp… black bean burger ok??? shrimp pasta over cooked, BLT thumbs down… I’m always one to give 2nd chance I’ll let ya know 2nd time around but it won’t be for a while.

I love coming here. My favorites: spinach artichoke dip, cheese pizza, and grilled cheese. My boyfriend loves the wings. They also make a great White Russian.

Omg you guys. I’m so sick of giving one star reviews but unfortunately I feel the only solution is to never eat at a restaurant again. My sangria was hands down the best part of my meal. But when I ordered a Moscow mule(ginger beer, vodka, lime) it came out with either red bull or monster, vodka & lime? Needless to say I traded it in for another sangria. As far as food goes we ordered the«fall off the bone salad» disgusting name but it was the only fun salad they had. It was supposed to have«mixed greens» but of course it came out with ice burg. The tell tale sign of a horrible restaurant. Giant salad with the tiniest side of dressing and of course extra dressing costs. The pizza. we did a create your own half sausage & pep and half pineapple & bacon well done. And thank god we got it well done because it was still doughy and not even hot ATALL. The sauce was watery and the toppings were tasteless. Also the bacon was definitely hormel bacon bits.

This bar has so much potential, but I cannot become a regular due to snobby ‘I’m better than you’ bartenders, warm beer, improperly washed glasses, and inconsistent food. A few weeks ago, I ordered food and expressed that it was delicious. The bartender told me it was only because the manager was cooking it… So the food is only good when the manager cooks? I’ve had many pizzas here, they range from well done to raw floppy dough, but 65% of the time they come out good. Also, I ordered a water, which smelled like beer, so the glass was obviously dirty and I did not drink it. I always try to get my girlfriend to go with me since it is walking distance, but she refuses because one of the snobby bartenders actually made fun of her outfit a few months back. Kind of heartbreaking to see such lack of management and«I don’t care» attitudes.

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and everything was great. We went today however and not so much. The 10oz pork steak was paper thin the chicken wings on the menu stated boneless but had bones and the onion rings were cold. The person I was with ordered a large pizza and he said that as well as his stuffed mushrooms were good. The waitress I believe was over whelmed and stated on a couple occasions that she was«slammed» I voiced my concern upon paying the bill and she at first said she would comp the price of the onion rings then came back and stated she would cut my bill in half. Nope that did not happen either. Don’t think I will be returning to this establishment anytime soon.

I like the look of this place — dark wood and low lighting; and I was very happy with the friendly service. But I wasn’t so happy with the food which was super greasy and messy. I wouldn’t go back for the food based on what I tried — the black bean burger and fries. My date got a crab wrap and he only ate half because he said it just wasn’t very good. It’d be okay to go there just for a beer, I guess.

This place was just okay for me. We came for food more than drinks, for once, and I wasn’t blown away by anything. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were dead. After talking to the bartender, it seems to be they are more of a nighttime bar and are also known for their brunches. He was very friendly and helpful, so we are going to pop back in maybe when they’re busier and probably for brunch. We split a pizza and the spinach artichoke dip. The dip was kind of bland and the pizza was good, but nothing special. Tasted like a really good frozen pizza. Will give it another shot in the future.

First visit for early lunch on a Saturday. We have a screwdriver, Artichoke dip and a supreme pizza. Everything was good. Not one of those places where any of the food was fantastic but it was all good. The restaurant itself is nice and very clean. Forgot to get the bartenders name but he was great.

The atmosphere was good. Waitress was nice and attentive. The food was greasy as hell. I am sure had we been in the mood for greasy, we would have loved it. But, we had just gotten back from California and we just wanted normal Midwest food and it didn’t hit the spot. We had pulled pork and a chicken wrap. The onion ring appetizers were better than the fries. We are going to give it another shot one day when greasy is the goal!

Ate here last night, early Friday evening. We both had sandwiches/burgers, and the food was great. Fries were excellent and the chicken wings were good. The service was wonderful — very pleasant, upbeat, and timely. The drink selection was very good, and the atmosphere was great. We were eating early, so it may get packed later(I think I remember it being packed a few years ago). We couldn’t have asked for any better — relaxed, comfortable, great service, very good food and drinks — we loved it!

We took a small wedding party to Three Monkeys this past Sunday. The server was fun and energetic and made sure our entire party was taken care of as a group and individually. The food was great and the selection was large. I’d say the desserts were the highlight of my visit. Priced right for what you get during brunch.

Everyone, from our 4 yr old granddaughter to our kids and us thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was top notch. Grilled cheese and Cuban sandwiches were huge and quite tasty. The fire in the hole pizza really hit the spot for this fireaholic. Good time for whole family. Great beer choices. We definitely plan on being back. Which says a lot since we come from Lake St. Louis.

Ordered a steak sandwich and fries… Used Grub Hub to get it… Sandwich was ok. Fries were soft, luke warm and flimsy. Ordered cheesecake too… It was also luke warm. Took an hour and a half to get my food. Yes I realize some of this is on Grub Hub. But 3 Monkeys they are delivering YOUR food. You better make sure they get it right. I should also say… The cost for this extremely mediocre meal before my tip was $ 26.50… Quite sure they must jack up the prices for deliveries.

This place seemed pretty cool when I walked in. The food was good too. I shared the nachos, guacamole bites, and wings with my table and everything was tasty. Good beer selections as well. It was pretty dead for a Friday night and they let most of their servers go I guess because it started to take a very long time to get fresh drinks toward the end of the evening. That’s also when we noticed mice running around. We saw at least half a dozen mice running out from under a drink service area and around some trash cans near the dining area. Rodents are just vial creatures in my opinion so I have decided I will never go back there. If the mice are freely running through the dining room, I can’t imagine what is happening in the back of house. Ugh.

A group of us decided to grab dinner here Saturday night after our human foosball game. The service was great and the food was excellent, but I was a little confused about one of the restrooms and the concept of the place. It seemed like fine dining, but the music was poppy and the tv’s had the women’s UFC fight. I loved it all, I just didn’t understand the setting. We’ll be back regardless.

I am only writing this review based off of their Sunday brunch buffets I was excited to hear that they stop seating at 1 p.m. and the buffet last till 2 p.m. the buffets total cost is $ 1899 and you receive a drink; Mimosa or a Bloody Mary and the Bloody Mary’s are $ 0.99 after that, its a great deal. So we arrived around noon we had a small wait about 10 minutes before they seated us. There was a major breakfast selection; biscuits and gravy, sausage, and bacon, scrambled eggs, and tater tots, fruits, and cheeses, pancakes, and waffles, they had hot syrup. I started my meal with the biscuits and gravy which were cold :(wasn’t happy about that. The bacon was very crispy and good I also enjoyed the sausage. Unfortunately when I went to go get eggs there was a huge long black hair throughout all of the scrambled eggs so I notified one of the servers and it they care of it right away and lucky for me I got a nice hot fresh eggs which they were good once they came out and the tater tots were good they were so fresh and hot. They also have these little mini quiches cheese and spinach I really enjoyed the cheese ones. Next I went over to the carving station and then had a few slices of roast beef dipped in the au– jus. I really wish they had some nice soft dinner rolls to make little sandwiches out of it. I also had a few slices of the pizzas which I must say was probably my favorite item that they offered. I’m sad to say that I did not try the omelette or the pasta which both of those were made right in front of you, nor did I try any of the desserts. My Bloody Mary was pretty decent overall I would have to say that I wasn’t that satisfied with my overall experience I guess I was expecting a little more after reading all the reviews I’m sure I will give their Sunday brunch buffet another try sometime in the future

I’ve always liked their food but BRUNCH is where it’s at! It’s delicious and my favorite place to go for brunch where I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. Every Sunday between 9 and 12 they serve brunch. If you get there between 9 – 10, you get the early bird special $ 15.99; get there after 10 and it’s $ 18.99. With that, you receive a complimentary mimosa or Bloody Mary. After that, the next(up to 3) are only $.99 – say whaaaat?! They always have the typical breakfast foods like cut up fruit, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, mini pancakes and waffles, bacon, sausage, tater tots(mmm… tots), bagels, cheese cubes(I find it hard to resist taking the entire tray, because… cheese). Then they will have a couple special items they switch up like bbq porksteaks, farmer’s casserole, taco pie casserole(or something like that), mac and cheese, green beans, etc. They offer a simple salad as well, and sometimes they have shrimp or oysters. There’s also a made-to-order omelet station where you can usually find some pasta, salmon, fresh cut roast beef, or as you would have guessed… omelets. If you have any room left in your belly and want something sweet, there’s also a big assortment of cookies along with slices of different pies and cakes. I really need to exhibit a little self-control when I come here for brunch so I don’t feel as though I need someone to wheelbarrow me out but it’s just so damn good. PS Mike, the server who usually gets stuck with my boyfriend and I, is super awesome and attentive!

Three Monkey’s is ok if you don’t have any other pizza options in the area on a late night after several drinks. If that makes any sense lol I’ve been on a few occasions and both the pizza and service are consistently mediocre. Nothing severely wrong with the joint; just ah… I don’t know. The 3 cheese pizza with mushroom and chicken was pretty ok. I never order drinks to I can’t give any insight on the bar area at all. Wait…I got it! I know the perfect way to describe the pizza here; think of a good Trader Joe’s frozen pizza but served at a restaurant that specializes in pizza.

This is my third time coming here. Customer service is always excellent. This time the food was left a bit to be desired. Great steak burger and hamburger however the lobster rangoon is terrible. I came for the lobster Rangoon so imagine my disappointment. The server says they changed the recipe. My advice go back to the old recipe, it was great! All in all its was just ok but it used to be great.

While I’ve heard great things about their brunch, I went for a friends birthday dinner. Our waitress, Shay, was knowledgable, very friendly and patient with us as we had been drinking and had a child with us. :-) We ordered sangria, stuffed mushroom app, pulled BBQ pork, pizza, and my son had cheeseburgers. Everything was quickly delivered and delicious. Needless to say, I was more than impressed. I will definitely be back soon!

I came here for the first time this past Sunday and it was a fantastic Sunday brunch for the price! $ 17.99 gets you an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet and a mimosa or bloody mary! Plus, up to 3 additional mimosas or bloody marys for $.99 each!!! The food was amazing, and even features oysters, omelletes made-to-order, fruit, desserts, fresh cut roast beef, and more! The service by all of the staff was great and all of the food was good and fresh. The spinach quiche and tortilla casserole were delicious! I will absolutely be back!

This is my first time eating at the restaurant, the first choice was closed so our group decided to continue down the street to find something else. We were seated quickly, and our drinks delivered in a timely fashion. Our server introduced her self as being new and in training. Time from ordering versus receiving our food was a very lengthy process, we went through one round of drinks without being check up on. Upon receiving the food, which was mediocre bar food, it then took another extended period of time to receive our checks. I understand new employees may not know procedure or have past serving skills but there is a overall courtesy on checking drinks/overall customer satisfaction. Overall OK food with less than par service for lunch.

Maybe a tad above 3.5 stars. Food is a bit pricey for a bar, although tasty. A parking lot off Morganford is a plus. Update 12⁄2015: solid 4 stars I decided to split a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza with my mom when she was visiting from out of town. We both agreed it was outstanding.
