If I could put no stars I would. Cause it’s closed. Boo. Walked here to get some BBQ but no store in sight. Very disappointing. You will not find this place if you look.

A solid BBQ choice in STL(which there is certainly no shortage of.) Located within walking distance from the ballpark, it’s a great option for the pre or post game munchies after a Cards game. I’ve yet to try the redbird wings but I’ve heard they’re quite good. Friendly customer service, reasonably priced, and a couple picnic tables outside for seating. I’ll definitely come back!

Was in town for a conference staying at the hilton at the ballpark and had to get a quick BBQ fix. Unc’s didn’t let me down. They were sold out of ribs but the red bird Wangs and rib tips were spot on. Had a side of the beans which were great too. Not your normal spicy BBQ baked beans but an original sweet flavorful. I am guessing the secret ingredient is applesauce? Very pleased might have to go back for some brisket which is a Friday and Saturday special I believe. Good work Unc’s!

This place was recommended to me by the cooks of another restaurant. I really enjoyed the red bird wings and the rib tips were delicious.

Awesome BBQ and good food. Probably need to be patient about service but worth it. Limited seating but delivery for 10 orders is free.

Unc’s BBQ just recently opened up right next to Busch stadium on 4th street. I stopped in here out of curiosity, and to satisfy a craving for BBQ. There is no seating inside from what I saw, but there are picnic tables outside. Inside is where you order namely. The place has a very local flavor to it; very St Louisian from my observation. I ordered a half slab of ribs and it was delicious! The meat had a lot of flavor, and the sauce was tasty as well. I think the half slab was a bit small, they might have been baby back ribs, but I’m not 100% sure. I think a half slab at Bogart’s is about the same price as here. They have more on the menu, but I don’t think they posted it on the board. Their most famous item is probably the ‘red bird’ wings which I got a free sample of; it was really delicious. The wings had a nice rub to it, and they were topped in homemade BBQ sauce; I highly recommend it. Nonetheless, if you are going to a Cards game, please stop by this place and support your local businesses. The red bird wings are worth the trek! The staff was super friendly. I wish this place success and hopefully they will stick around!
