Union Barbershop

This place, man. Its the best! Hands/​feet down best place to get a haircut in STL. I hesitate to spread the word because this place is so awesome I want to keep it to myself. Sometimes to many people can spoil the experience. Anyway, about the place… It has a vintage, ‘Hipstery’ feel… perfect for us young folk who like that sheeeet. They do serve beer so you could grab a brew and get a cut which is pretty f@%#ing awesome. They are also very keen to detail and it shows. Everyone talks to each other and its quite refreshing. Nothing like the cold atmosphere that welcomes you at a Great Clips or something. I will come back! These people have a great concept! Look for Amy. Shes the bomb

FINALLY found a barber shop that I love and won’t be going anywhere else. Ever since I moved to St. Louis I’ve had a hard time finding a new hair stylist/​barber that does it the way I want it (I’m pretty picky about my hair). I heard about Morgan and her awesome work and let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations. She takes her time and you can tell she’s really into her profession (which while I was there I could tell all the barbers were very methodical with their work). She was very nice and attentive. All seem to be badass barbers, you can’t go wrong with any of them.
And lastly the atmosphere was icing on the cake, as soon as I walked into the Barber shop, I just knew this was the one. Some old school rap bumpin with a mix of some old school rock, very hip and fun environment. Some guys on their laptops waiting for their turn, guys chatting drinking some beer (YES THEY SERVE BEER! they just got their liquor license). I didn’t look around much but Morgan told me they have a pool table in the other room with a bar. She said they want to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome and mostly a fun place to hangout and get your haircut. Honestly I’m excited to go back and get my haircut again. 5 stars all the way– and I never write reviews so that alone says a lot about how highly I think of this place.
