What a darling little gem of a store. We stumbled upon it because we were eating at Old Standard Fried Chicken next door. I of course saw their darling window displays which drew me in. The owner & her mother were so friendly & explained it is all handmade items in Saint Louis. Love handmade goods! And what cute goods they were! I bought two items, and definitely will be back. I signed up for the email list too, she said they have classes there also. Looking for unique gifts or just treats for yourself, you should definitely check it out.

Do you like handcrafted arts and goods? Do you like to support local? If both your answers to the questions above are«YES!», then this is the place for you! Like Christine has already mentioned almost all of the items in the store and handmade except for a few items of baby clothing. There were a huge variety of items, from wooden cheese/cutting boards to iPhone cases.(The wooden items are actually made by the owners father I believe). The owner seemed very friendly, but my wife and I had the most interaction with her mother. She was very helpful and informative. I asked her about a couple of pieces, and well she really knew her stuff. I will definitely be coming back, if not for a unique gift, then just to browse. Items at the store rotate, so come back often, there’s always something new.

My husband and I actually stumbled on this store by accident while on our way to a bakery across the street. We saw the window display of handmade paper products and were delighted to find that they welcomed us into the store, even though it was technically 10 minutes past closing time. The owner’s mother greeted us(the owner was speaking with other customers at the time); she was very friendly and explained the concept of the store. Everything(except for a few items of baby clothing) is made by hand by local artists, one of them being the woman who began the shop. They’ve been open for a year and they sell so many different things. I saw photography, leather phone cases, handmade jewelry, pottery, hand carved wooden children’s toys, handmade notebooks, a mobile made from tree branches with tiny handmade birds, various baby clothes and women’s clothing, pillows, bow ties, and a lot more that I can’t remember. The space can also be rented out for baby showers or birthday parties and things like that. They have art classes periodically taught by local artists in the space as well(I think there’s a papermaking one coming up later this month). If you’re looking for a handmade unique gift for someone(or just wanting to treat yourself), I would suggest coming here to check out their selection, which sometimes changes as new work is brought in. As you might expect, the price is not cheap, but then again, virtually everything is handmade and you can tell it’s of a high quality. Many of the pieces I would consider to be art and not just a pillow or a card or a scarf or whatever. I didn’t end up buying anything there that day, but I won’t forget that they’re there! I look forward to returning again!
