Check out their pricing… RIPOFF…they charged $ 7.50 for casual slacks. Seriously, and they weren’t even ready when promised. I had to go back, but never again! Only have my Oder was there when I went back. (2 weeks later) Well when I went back to pick up my 7 shirts. They have lost a shirt and asked me to identify it. You must be kidding. I guess I should take a picture of every item I drop off… This must be the worst run cleaner I have ever seen… how are they in business?

VIP Cleaners is the first professional cleaner I have used in St. Louis and period in my life. I took my grandmother’s wedding dress there as I was intending to wear it during my reception. She had never cleaned it and it was approaching its 52nd anniversary. There were a few stains that could have been sugar/wine anything really. VIP staff was immediately able to name the stains and get them out. Only one stain shrunk in size rather than disappear and that is largely due to the set in time(I mean come on. 52 years is a long time). They were incredibly friendly and fast. As this is a one time experience I can only offer positive comparison for any displeased reviewers. Very friendly staff. Very quick turn around.

My go-to dry cleaners. They’re right across the street from the WashU campus and have a captive audience, so the prices might be a little higher than elsewhere, but it’s not worth the extra drive for me. The service has always been friendly and quick — 48 hours regular turnaround for basically anything, and possibly 24 if you’re in a big rush. I’ve brought suits, ties, shirts, peacoats, and a bunch of other things here. Most recently I brought in a tie that had gotten some form of white sauce on it(damn Italians); two days later I picked it up looking brand new. My only complaint is having brought in my heavy wool peacoat for a cleaning, and when I got it back I couldn’t tell a difference; but every time I’ve brought a suit, tuxedo, or tie, it’s always come back and in great shape.

DONOTBRINGYOURCLOTHESTOTHISDRYCLEANERS. They lost two of my dresses and still made me pay for the lost garments if I wanted to take my other articles of clothing home they had not lost. It has been two months and I have had to continuously call to get anyone to give me an update on my dresses. They told me I had to send original receipts for the items lost, which I did. I finally was able to track someone down today and was told I would receive about ¼ of the amount my dresses cost, because of «policy.» Not only did they lose my dresses, but they also acted extremely unprofessional. One could hardly consider their acknowledgment an apology and one employee told me «it is not a perfect science these things happen.» As a customer of a dry cleaner, I would only hope apology after apology would come my direction if an article of my clothing was lost. Trying to get my dresses back or even the minimal money they offered has been near impossible. DON’ GOHERE!
