West End Terrace Apartments

I’m a student who will have lived here for 2 years because it was conveniently located to my school building but this first year wasn’t great and we are now signed for a second one, OH BOY! I think that the maintenance men are the best part about this place. They are super helpful and always willing to give you a hand. BUT it is WAY WAY WAY over priced for the quality you are receiving. The buildings are old, and when we believe we have an issue with our heater leaking out the thin windows, they do nothing to help. We know something is wrong when our heating bill is 70 dollars more than our friends in the buildings and we kept it at 55 (aka freezing) and paid to much. There are plenty of other places in the CWE that are the same price and I’m sure will be more up to date and more helpful.
Additionally, they aren’t always helpful. They cut my friends bike lock without warning since it was in a bad place but have allowed cars to park in fire lanes and when they needed those to be moved they gave everyone a warning before penalties began.
There are some people in the main office who i prefer to talk to being that they are kind hearted and helpful but overall this isn’t the place to live in such a wonderful place like STL.
