This place is great! The Shrimp St. Paul, fried rice, and brown gravy are the best. The prices are very reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. The only negative aspects of the restaurant is that there is very little available parking and the neighborhood seems dangerous. That said, this place serves the best fast food chinese in St. Louis.

I work nearby and there really aren’t that many restaurants in this neighborhood. But if you’re from around here or work around Natural Bridge and Goodfellow, Yet Bun is a great lunch joint. It’s takeout only, but be aware there is NO parking anywhere nearby. I had to park a block down on a side street. The neighborhood is very shady, so don’t make it a night-time treat. The place itself is a rinky-dink little one room shack with old menu signs and bootleg DVDs for sale in the window. You also have to order through a revolving, what appeared to be bullet proof, glass door on the counter. Really unsettling. I’m also pretty sure it’s cash only. That being said, my service was quick and easy. I ordered a half-size of fried rice with chicken. It took about 5 minutes to make and that was during the lunch rush. A pint of rice and chicken for $ 3.50? Not bad. And the food itself was passable. Not a destination sort of good, but good enough for work-lunch. And the price can’t be beat. Overall, I would recommend Yet Bun, with the caveats that you should only go there in groups, during the day, and if you are in a hurry and can’t sit down somewhere else. If you qualify, then Yet Bun is a great choice.
