Laulie Cakes

Laura and her staff are incredible. We used Laulie Cakes for our wedding reception in May of 2015 and she went above and beyond! I gave her an image of the cake I wanted and she literally recreated it exactly! Turned out absolutely beautiful. The cake is DELICIOUS… you honestly just need to go by and try one of the cupcakes… so good!!! We will use Laulie Cakes for any events we have in the future for sure!

Stopped in here for cupcakes to take for dessert after dinner with friends. We tried 5 types, all were delicious. Moist, great frosting, pretty too. They were a big hit.

I have ordered cupcakes for Mother’s Day and, most recently, a cake for my daughter’s baptism. The shop staff is always helpful and friendly, and their work is fantastic. The cake and cupcakes are delicious as well as beautiful, and I don’t think there’s a better value for your money. Great little shop!

LOVE this place. I almost don’t want to write a good review, because I don’t want my secret to become everyone else’s! Not only do they deliver the best-​looking, most creative cakes, but they are DELICIOUS. Every time I’ve ordered a cake, my guests have commented over and over that they can’t believe a cake that looks so amazing can also taste so good. I’ve brought in pictures of what I want, and they always deliver. In addition, I treat myself once in awhile to a cupcake. Love their PB&J…they are so decadent and so yummy. Service is outstanding. Laulie’s has become the go-​to dessert provide for my family and extended family for birthdays, family gatherings, etc.

A friend of mine had a cake made from here and I took her advise to get a cake from here as well for my son’s high school graduation. I emailed a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like to the owner. When I picked it up, I never anticipated the cake to meet my crazy high expectations. WOW, was I wrong! This cake looked EXACTLY like the picture I sent. The cake tasted 10x better than it looked, which I didn’t think could have been possible. Thank you Laulies! I’ll definitely be back, and I will refer anyone looking for a cake or cupcakes. You guys rock!

My husband and I used Laulie Cakes for our wedding and told many people about it. Even our guests raved about the cake! I’ve seen many other cakes and tasted them but none come close to Laulie.
I read a previous review and where someone was plugging another place and I think that is very rude but pleased at how it was handled.
Laulie’s has amazing prices, tastes, designs and truly an amazing place!

We ordered a custom cake back in March of this year and it was a Lego Indiana Jones cake. Laura said she’d never done one before but always liked to try new cakes. The cake was beyond my expectations, all I gave her were a few pictures that I found online and she made each piece look so authentic. There was a little Lego Indiana Jones guy with a whip and fondant Lego pieces and boulders — it was really amazing and my 7 year old was so amazed and in awe of the cake. It was the center of attention at his birthday party for the first 15 minutes :) I will definitely be using Laulie Cakes again; in fact I will be using them this weekend for my daughter’s birthday. Love them!

My children and I stopped in for cupcakes today and were very pleased with the quality of the cupcakes. My kids had the dong ding and I had the peanut butter and jelly. Both were delicious! The cake was moist and light and the peanut butter frosting was incredible!

I have been driving past Laulie Cakes for awhile now and always wondered what they had so today I figured I would stop by and see the store. I was kind of wanting to purchase some cake pops for the kids but she said they do sell them, but only by special order.
She then showed me their selection for the day and handed me a menu. She explained the way each cupcake is prepared and told me a little about their business.
I ended up leaving with two cupcakes, The Cookie Dough Cupcake, and The Boston Cream Cupcake. I have tasted the cookie dough cupcake and plan to eat the other later this evening. The cookie dough is completely delicious and the Boston cream looks amazing too.
The cupcakes are large enough for two people to share and have a reasonable amount. It is possible for four to share the cupcakes from Laulie too (that is what we did). BUT, keep in mind that if four people share the cupcake, you’ll only get a couple of small bites.

I ordered a custom cake from Laulie’s for my daughter’s birthday. It was a little hard to get in touch with the owner to place the order but once I did, she was helpful & friendly. The day of delivery, she delivered the cake herself because her delivery person called in sick. The delivery was still on time and perfect!
The cake itself was beautiful. The fondant icing, decorations and little figurines were adorable. The cake itself tasted very good. I’m not a fan of fondant which is rather disgusting whomever does it. However, the chocolate cake itself was very good. I give the cake a solid B for taste.
Overall, I was pleased with my order from Laulie’s. However, there are bakeries that make cakes that look AND taste amazing. I’d recommend Wedding Wonderland if you are looking for an amazing cake that tastes incredible at a great price.
