Love this place! I, seriously, hit this place up at least once a month. Things are ALWAYS changing. There are always new things to check out… you can, seriously, get lost in here for a couple of hours. Everything I find here gets tons of compliments, and is so incredibly unique. Marina is a fun, hospitable person that is easy to chat with, and totally willing to shop with you for whatever.

Very nice place with cool items for sale, but ai found it very disrespectful that when I walked in and asked for a bathroom, they said that is only for customers. If i’m a potential customer, why wouldn’t you at least say it differently to keep my business? Employees were very short and unwelcoming.

It is my fourth visit to this authentic vintage stire. The selection is getting bigger and bigger. Some items are are bargain in comparison to up north Like new York city or D.C. but for Florida residents is is on the pricey side. If you are a vintage enthusiast, it is like a candy store. You never know what you will find. You can spend long time browsing for that special item that bring you back in time.

Vintage paradise! The rooms are filled with vintage clothes, lingerie, gifts, and jewelry! You could easily get lost in their aisles of unique clothes and items. They have a great collection of crystal jewelry and handmade pieces. The staff was very helpful and happy to help me find something specific or even something a bit broader. «I’m looking for something with elephants.», «I’m looking for a ruby.», «I’m looking for something from the 1920s.». They have it all.

Pretty large building with a great collection of hand-picked goodies! The main shop has mostly women’s clothing, accessories, and jewelry, while the ARTpool Café building is where they have a nice selection of men’s clothes and some kitchen items. I like that it’s not just vintage things, but also picks from artisans and craftspeople(some are Etsy sellers). The owners were very nice and welcoming as I browsed through the store, which really seems to have a little something for everyone ranging from hip and fashionable to really extravagant! Prices also range so you’ll be able to find something within your budget. It seems like they keep their store well-stocked with new things constantly, so I will be back to check out the new goods soon!

I display my artwork at ARTpool and the owners and staff there are fantastic. Marina, Becky, and Lilly are always professional and courteous. They are great supporters of area artists! And the entire shop and café is a treasure!

You can easily spend an hour browsing both buildings. Fantastic mix of vintage and hand-made jewellery and upcycled clothing, much of it very reasonably priced. If you’re sick of shopping the same old stores and even the same old thrift stores, Artpool is a breath of fresh air. But you may not be able to keep yourself from walking out with something ridiculous. I was THISCLOSE to buying a 1984 Cabbage Patch Kids ballcap. I still may go back and buy it one day, hmm.

I love, love this place. It’s pretty much my Mecca when I’m in St. Pete these days for vintage clothes, décor and local art and crafty stuff. They have fun runway parties, very artsy and creative. One of the most fun places to shop with an eclectic, laid-back vibe and super nice people who own and run it. I really, really love their handmade jewelry here, especially the stuff by Marina Williams, who owns this awesome place with her mom. I got a great mermaid pendant that I absolutely love and it was affordable. Plus, anywhere selling old Archie comics by the hundreds is pretty great in my book! They also have delightful monthly craft markets selling everything from plushies to jewelry and art. Love it!

Just drove an hour to support an art event that my friends were participating in at this venue. One of the elder lady owners started yelling about a wristband, pushing me out and telling me to leave without giving my friends(who are artists and were right there) or myself the opportunity to explain why I didn’t have a wristband. Unprofessional would be an understatement.

I really want to like this place and support local artists… but the fact that every single time I’ve been in here I’ve been followed and watched. Any questions are met with short, annoyed tones. I’ve never stolen a thing in my life and yet simply because I’m not some thin prick I guess I’m obviously not meant to be there I suppose. Mimicking high fashion has never seemed more gaudy and paltry and mediocre. As well as the massive amount of taxidermy, animal skins, and leather from India, which makes me want to vomit. The people never greet me, only watch me and follow. I’ve gone in twice before with the same treatment. Will not be returning.

This place is really fun. You can tell the owner is a free spirit who is passionate about fashion, recycling, upcycling, and thrift. They have jewelry crafted by local artisans and tons of really appropriately priced thrifted pieces. I actually found my wedding reception dress here for $ 30! I love how the shop is always changing and hosting fun events too. It’s really a cool place in St. Pete. I’m so glad to have found it.

Cool place to check out a variety of vintage items. I’ve been in here a couple of times. The store itself is clean with a unique setup. I’ve seen everything from jewelry to clothing, shoes, postcards, etc. and the items were in good shape. I like to think of it as an upscale thrift shop. The prices are high but they do offer items that are designer and/or next to new. I can’t wait to visit their café portion or attend an event here one day!

This place is like most hipster egocentric little vintage«antique» shops. The snotty and«quirky» shop hands. The items you can easily acquire for free on Craigslist or from a flea market for a cost close to nothing. Here however, they mark these items up. I saw a brass and bead necklace for $ 74. Owl necklaces marked at $ 45 that you can buy from China on Amazon for $ 8. Why? I could make that crap with scraps for free. Alternately I could find the same aged jewelry for $ 3 at a *real* antique store. The only things I found that were realistically priced were handmade artwork, paintings, and some of the clothing. My silly and tolerant boyfriend(for coming along in this primarily female-centric shop) tried on a hat and he looked so cute I went to take a photo of him and this shopgirl wearing oversized cliché «artistic» black rimmed glasses halted this fun interaction between us with a «…we don’t allow photography in here» and I could not believe this. I repeated her statement to me back to her in question form. And she verified no photography. Why not?! Freedom of expression is seemingly the entire concept you liberal people are trying to embrace! Nothing in the store is something incredibly unique that I couldn’t find at any other antique shop or dump warehouse. It isn’t a museum where flash could damage the original mediums. If you have patrons that just spent money in your connected mediocre restaurant and they’re holding things they plan on purchasing in your goofy little store(mostly just to support local small business) — and they want to take some fun photos to ultimately help market your store– let them! I immediately put down the things I wanted to buy and we left. On principle. You’re better off taking a bit of a drive and hitting up an actual antique store or flea market for the same products at a reduced price and less hipster vibe.

Artpool is one of the better vintage shops in the Burg, with items ranging from box purses, hats, clothing and costume jewelry to art, cards, antlers, photographs, tchotchkes, records, light fixtures, lantern slides, old magazines, books, assemblage, typewriters, retro household items, etc — spread almost haphazardly through two buildings that include a small café and surrounding a courtyard used frequently for shows, events and the occasional hipster fashion show. Quirky is the word here, and it’s a perfect place to find that little something you had no idea you were looking for. Although it would primarily interest a younger(mainly 30 and under) crowd, both men and women will find items of interest. The prices are a bit all over the place(vintage Life magazines are way overpriced but the books are a good deal for example), so it helps to be familiar with what you’re looking at. Despite that, I enjoy shopping there, and it won’t break the bank like La France.

Love ARTpool Gallery! The shop, the café, the events… all are amazing! I have found so many wonderful vintage pieces at ARTpool, from a little Hercules book shelf for my husband to a vintage leather European trench coat for my son. They have jewelry, décor, fashion… anything you can imagine! We have been to many events at ARTpool and have always had a blast. The fashion shows are always fantastic and the Crafty Fest makes my hand-made-loving heart happy. Keep doing what you are doing ARTpool!

For up and coming artists you cannot beat what ARTPOOL offers you. This is not a stuffy intimidating gallery. It is an eclectic vintage boutique filled with all kinds of treasures. Marina does not take a commission and you are free to set your own prices on your work. A rental fee for display space and you are all set. This location gets traffic and the monthly themed art parties are the talk of the town! In order to keep overhead down, she depends of volunteers and the events are a great way to get your creative juices! If you just want to shop, you will get lost in that place! The inventory is always changing so you have to stop by often.

Eclectic is an understatement for this super mod, cool, hip shop. Marina is awesome and she stocks everything and anything you can think of or remember from your childhood. The amount of vintage clothes and shoes including children’s sizes is amazing. They are constantly hosting events and are fab members of the community. Check them out soon as the inventory is always updated and changing. Sometimes I just go and wonder, get lost and hang out. My daughter(10) loves it too.

I had gone to the original ART Pool location at their last event. It was a nice place with a lot of charm and local appeal. But it was cramped. That’s about impossible to say regarding the new location. Now you enter into the main room: a vintage store the size of the old location. To your right is the art gallery — artists can rent wall space with all revenue going directly to the artist. If you go out through the back door you find yourself in a huge courtyard. Inevitably they will have film screenings here which I think would be a great weekly/monthly event — $ 5 cover charge, free popcorn, bring your own chair and drinks. Anyways, back to what’s there — the garage to the left? That’s also a part of ART Pool. Other artists can display or possibly rent out space. All I know is the place is cool and was packed for the live music and Lady Gaga flash mobs. I hope the new ART Pool becomes a St. Pete staple, right next to Haslam’s. So if you’re looking for some vintage clothing for a party or your own style; unique jewelry or artwork from local artists, swing by, and definitely look into coming out for the monthly events.
