Auracle Salon

I made appointment in advance in for a gel mani, hand wax and mini pedi with Michele.
Quality — Pretty standard, no frills. I like the nail shape and there were no awkward painful moments during the shaping and buffing phases. She didn’t cut my skin around my nails (which is where I usually hold my breath). I did not like that there was no pumice stone or exfoliating scrubs involved. I have some rough patches on my feet I expect to be taken care of during a pedi and they are still there now. The process is really a glorified DIY (soak, lotion, cut, file, paint). She did paint the nails quickly and well. The wax was by far my favorite part. They had the biggest gel color selection I’ve seen yet in FL.
Parking — Street, but no issues finding a spot as it is in a residential part of town with parking spots clearly marked around the block.
Location — Not going to lie, I thought Google was messing with me by taking me down some shady residential streets in St Pete, however once I got there I realized this little «mom & pop» was a gem and I wasn’t afraid to dart from my car into the salon.
Service — Getting an appointment at this salon was the worst part of the experience. I learned that leaving a message at least got me a call back eventually, but don’t plan to speak to live person when you call (even repeatedly, or daily). Their hours are very limited for anyone who works during the week, but they seem willing to work with your schedule (once you get to speak with a person). The BEST part of the experience was I was in and out within one hour; my appointment started right on time. The conversation was informal and enjoyable. The salon atmosphere feels like you are getting a favor from a friend you know, which is much better than those uppity salons you walk into and immediately wish you had put on more makeup.
Cleanliness — She sprayed and wiped down the foot basin after my pedi. The nail counter was clear of debris, but I would have like to have it wiped down with a sanitary wipe since I know hands are just dirty in general. I didn’t notice my tech wash her hands at all, not to say she didn’t between clients. Bathroom was perfect (which some say is a good judge of a place).

I’ve been going here for years and have never had any complaints. I always leave with a consistently good hair cut. I never have to wait long and everyone here is nice. Auracle Salon has a good atmosphere, free Wi-​Fi, and gets the job done. Overall, I have no complaints!

Gena is by far one of the greatest and hardest working hairdressers in the FL. The simple fact that her book is jammed packed 3 months in advance sez it all bitches!!!
Who needs customer service when the line is wrapped around the block!?!
She dumped all the lazy asses and now it’s a whole new place with great energy. Color is her speciality and the cuts are always modern and a perfect application of geometry and symmetry.
As an industry expert I would say go in and your face value will greatly increase. Love it!

This is a review of Beautiful Skin @Auracle. Cassandra is working out if this spa/​salon. After several texts back and forth, we agreed to have my appt today with a groupon. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful. The lady who assisted me even texted Cassandra for me after asking me if I was sure I had an appt. I showed her the texts I had on my phone. I was about 25 min early and the receptionist said Cassandra runs late and that she thought she was fine for the day. Anyway I waited past the time of our appt and then called and texted Cassandra. She finally texted me 20 min after our scheduled appt saying she was getting the room prepared for me and that she was in the salon since noon, and that Gena (last at front desk) texted her but was running late. Ummmm I call BS on that and texted her back that she was not in the building, the other ladies in the salon said she was not there and that if she was running late she could have communicated, regardless. I really doubt that Gena texted her while she was still in this building because this salon is tiny. In fact, the edty room listed by the bathroom was wide open with no one in it when i went back there to use the restroom during my wait. After that text I sent back, I received no response. That correspondence made me lose more respect for her. Her behavior makes this nice salon look bad. While she is running her business independently from the rest of the salon, the rep of Auracle becomes affected. Good thing groupon immediately refunded my money.

Worst customer relations. I was at the salon at my scheduled time and waited 30 minutes for the esthetician (Casey or Cassondra T.) to come out and leave with no regard to me. The other salon members asked her where she was going and what about her customer (me) and if she was going to at least talk to me and explain. She said no I’ve gotta go. Apparently she doesn’t have good sense of time and usually leaves her costumers waiting. Everyone was apologetic and seemed to be caring and considerate but unfortunately Cassandra doesn’t care about her relationship with her customers. So if you need skin care, you may want to go somewhere else.

Auracle was great! Cute little house with fun cute staff buzzing about. A nice mellow vibe. No stuck up personalities!
1^st visit on a groupon. Some places that have put out groupons treat you differently, not here. Very welcoming!
Monica did a great job on my hair and waxing my brows! I met the owner, Gena… so sweet and down to earth! Look forward to my return visits!
