I love thrift stores. This like a discount store, though. Lots of brand new, poor quality, overpriced junk here. There was some furniture that was used. It was expensive. Not my kind of place.

Everything is too over priced. St Vincent across the street is way better and cheaper.

What surprises me about this place is the number of new items. I can see a thrift store having a few new items that are super good deals but many do not qualify super good deals. Plenty of pre-owned clothes though. And they are well organized. I usually visit looking for used housewares and have often found what I wanted. I also shop electronics section. Worth a stop but I prefer Metro Thrift and St Vincent de Paul.

This store is great for the new things they have. Beds, household goods, etc. The used clothing sucked. They have a «boutique» section, and let me tell you. if the«boutique» clothing is crap, you can bet the rest of the clothes are crap. I was not wrong. Not only was everything just gross, but most of the clothes were all mixed up, meaning the large section was full of small clothes, and that seriously is my pet peeve. It wasn’t just a few mixed in either. All sections were just a miss match of sizing. It was useless to even look in the large section, because there was so many small sizes thrown in there.

They have some nice stuff but stupidly overpriced. You can buy a new shirt for what they charge for an old one. I asked a lady when do they have sales. All i got was«we don’t do sales!». I would recommend not visiting this goodwill. There is a lot of other thrift stores in the area that«do, do sales» and they don’t charge retail prices for donated clothing. Don’t fall for the charity crap either because they donate the minimum amount they have to and the rest goes in their pockets. Donate your stuff to another thrift store that ACTUALLY helps people.

This is a pretty standard Goodwill — no more, no less. They have a large selection of clothing and miscellaneous items, but they also(unfortunately) have a lot of very low end new items as well. They don’t have the best prices, but they do have a lot of items. This wouldn’t be my first choice for thrifting, but it is a good stop if you are making a day of it.
Large location, a little untidy but not unexpectedly so. A mix of new and used items, with the primary focus being on clothes and housewares.

I love coming here to pick up housewares. The clothes are a little overpriced for my taste. I shop here to find spoons, knives, forks, and other items that I may seem to be missing in the kitchen at home. It is the closest to where I live and is an alternative to the places such as walmart. I can get real utensils for cheaper than I can there.

I never walk out of this Goodwill location empty handed. The store is HUGE! They have so much to sort through, so go with enough time(and patience) to spend there. They do have dividers up to separate clothing by size, but obviously it is not perfect. I go for the women’s clothing, and I always find a lot of really great stuff. Shirts and skirts are priced about $ 5 and jeans and dresses around $ 8. I walked out today with 9 items for $ 48(including tax). I have found lots of great designer merchandise. Hint: The items in the«better quality» section usually aren’t the true high end stuff. That’s mixed in and priced like the«average» items! In addition to clothing and typical thrift store merchandise, they also have some new items. I think they buy closeout deals from other retailers. Today they had new pet beds, lots of summer party supplies, and new Todd English cookware(I’m assuming from HSN closeout?). In the past, I’ve gotten great deals on holiday decorations and décor.

I was here for less than 5 minutes, a record for me. This goodwill was huge and it was very hard to find what you were looking for. Other stores usually have clothing sorted by size. Here they have a huge section of «large» women’s pants that range in size from 10 – 14 but there were anywhere from size 4s to size 22s mixed in, making it impossible to easily find your size. I decided not to waste my whole day and went elsewhere. I recommend checking out Sunshine Thrift store up the road instead — very well organized, great selection.

Completely PASS. Overpriced, dirty, messy and just-plain-wrong. The Good: It’s Goodwill. The end result is helping people who need it. I won’t get into the whole ‘non-profit’ b.s. but I do know that the little amount of good they do is much larger than most other businesses. The Bad: It’s not all donated goods, and the markup is a joke. They sell brand new guitars for $ 95 each, when you can buy the same guitars from $ 75 elsewhere. The dishes aren’t even cleaned before they are put on the shelf, and there is no illusion of order anywhere. Broken items are sold for around 85% of normal retail and most things there are stained or broken. They evidently have a source of crappy items, like necklaces and ‘as seen on tv’ items, because they sell these at full retail. The Skinny: Skip it. If I wanted crappy overpriced goods that are more often broken and missing pieces than not I would simply shop at yard sales.

i’m a thrift shop connoisseur. shopping in thrift stores get’s my heart racing. seriously. so i was excited to finally get into the goodwill at 34th and central. no lie this store is H-U-G-E huge. i’ve been driving past it for weeks dreaming of the fun t-shirts, obscure uniform shirts and kick-ass hoodies i was gonna find in there. then i went in. it’s huge but for dudes its got almost nothing. really, really poor and small selection of mens clothing. most of the tees are bland and no fun at all. and yeah, i get it’s florida but one or two hoodies please. actually a big section of this store was devoted to unopened merchandise like laundry detergent. not what i’m looking for in a thrift store, i can tell you that. my trip wasn’t a total waste — i did score a funny chair for my patio for $ 4 and a gaudy«mexico» ball cap to wear as a joke around a friend of mine from mexico — but it definitely won’t be in my thrift store rotation. and yeah, it’s dirty like many of the reviews have pointed out, but c’mon people it’s a goodwill not saks.

I noticed that a couple of the reviews were remarking on cleanliness. As a person who once managed a Salvation Army store I can tell you that the majority of the major chains are severely understaffed and trying to create«order» in a huge room full of totally mismatched things can be a real challenge, so give them a bit of a break. This store was OK and the staff was really friendly. The clothes were nice and neat, the bric-brac was a little untidy but the selection was excellent and the quality of the products on the shelves were great I went in there for a certain thing and had absolutely no problem finding it. You go to thrift stores to dig a little and treasure hunt, thats the appeal of them, if you want absolute order and cleanliness you are better off going to a department store or Wal-Mart. If you have a little bit of time to dig and find some real treasures or unusual items this shop is worth a trip. Keep in mind this is for charity, they do good things with the money, so maybe a dish is fifty cents to a dollar more than you think it would be, thats a dollar more towards helping someone build a house or put food on the table. I’d rather give my money to them than a large department store corporation.

The first time & only time I was there, I found their store to be lacking in cleanliness. I’m not talking passing the white glove test, but at least sweep the floors once a week! And a lot of the stuff was over priced for the condition of the item.
