Ross Dress for Less

Yep, I found another one. Why? A friend needed a new bra!
Here’s a hint for all the women who might come across this: If you gain/​lose more than 20 pounds, it’s time to get re-​fitted in your bra. I guarantee that you’re NOT what you were before.
Since I can usually visually size very well, I took my friend over to Ross, and found a few different styles for her to try on. One thing I HATE about Ross is that their lingerie sections are horribly kept. It doesn’t matter which one I visit, the bras are disgusting. They are never in order, they are always messed up, Finding a size is like an easter egg hunt. GOOD LUCK!
But we did find a few of the sizes I suggested — I generally suggest two, different band/​cup combo’s because Go up a band, go down a cup, is kind of how it works. And you HAVE to try them on. Well, after 3 different ones, we found one that she liked and it was only $ 6.99 +tax.
After that, I looked around and saw nothing I either didn’t already have or nothing I wanted. Heck, I even played personal shopper for a complete stranger. Yes, life is fun when you have very few inhibitions.
Ross is great when you need something and you just don’t know what!

Great finds in the dress section… a Tahari suit normally $ 280 on clearance for $ 33 is just one example… great home section. Customer service excellence depends on the employee and time of day makes a difference too!

Ross is a great place for a great deal. I find it less stressful to dig through these racks than say a TJ Maxx or Marshall’s. It may just be because this one is a little smaller.
If it isn’t too crazy, the dressing room attendants help you out, especially if you have more than 8 items to try on. They’ll switch out clothes as you try them on. My cashier was nice as well.
The swimsuit selection was pretty sad. Of course, ’tis the season for spring breakers so I may have just been a bit late to the game.
And finally, the store was very clean and still pretty organized which is a miracle at these kind of stores.

We always find a ton of deals in this store. The merchandise today was a little thin, but that has not been typical of this store. They have a good men’s shoe selection, especially if you wear large sizes. The store is clean and much more organized than most of the Ross stores I have been in. Overall clean and good merchandise.

Nice clean store with a good selection of merchandise. Just go in with an open mind and chances are good that you will find something you like at a price you like even better…

Ross is one of my favorite «discount» stores. I find a lot of good deals in Ross. This morning I purchased a Physician’s Formula eye makeup set that had mascara, and eyeshadow palette and an eyeliner set (three eyeliners & brush) for only $ 7.99. The value if you buy these three products individually at drugstores would cost you around $ 35. I have also found some Philosophy and The Body Shop products for great prices. I also like to buy shoes, purses, wallets, shoes (ohh wait… I said that?), socks and kitchen goods here. You never know what kind of goodies you will find.
