It’s 10:30 on a Tuesday and this is the 8th bar we’ve stopped at looking for music and some sort of atmosphere(no, we didn’t drink at all of them). This is a smoky place() but full of character. The bartender is a surly mo fo who draws clear lines, but he really is smiling on the inside! Seriously, a must visit. Great music to be heard… Cheers!

It’s a smokey dive bar, which is fine but the bar tender(older gentleman with a mustache) was borderline hostile when we asked him for a beer list. He said they did not have a beer list and then proceeded to stare at us. My coworker asked what they had on draft and he said they didn’t have anything on draft and continued with the staring as if waiting for an order. I asked him what beers they have and his words were«there are like 14 of em, dude. They’re in the coolers.» which was around the bend in the bar and dimly lit. I walked away toward it muttering something like«jesus, sorry to bother you.» And he rattled off a few as I got there. The selection was poor. He then got short with my other coworker and we decided to go elsewhere. We walked 100 feet away to a neighboring bar called Catch 228, where we were greeted warmly and treated well for the night. I wouldn’t go to Marsh Point to seek shelter in a hail storm.

Stopped in here for a beer and a shot. Definitely a dive bar. Smokey with shady cliental. Nothing against the place, but not really my scene. The bartender was super nice and the place was okay as far as being clean. The bathroom could use some work though. Kinda nasty.
