This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. It’s seems to be family-run and owned and I believe those are the best places to grab food. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken. It was delicious. I would definitely go back and bring some friends. This place is so popular that it is always packed. If you are big on customers service then don’t go here. You will think they were rude, and it would be better for the customers around you to not hear you complain about how the woman talks to you. The place isn’t clean all the time, but the wait can we be lengthy but it is worth it.

Great food!!! place is pretty small for the huge rush they get during lunch. Wish they would get more help as the ordering process is a bit hectic, but the food is definitely worth it. my fave is the sirloin steak lunch special!!! prices are okay it runs about $ 10.00 a plate but it’s good food, rather then paying 7 to 8 bucks for fast food.

A very small restaurant that’s run by a husband and wife. I ordered a Sirloin Steak, 2 sides and a drink for about $ 10.50. The portion was just right(I have a big appetite). The food tasted fantastic and can’t wait to go back there to try their Catfish(grilled and fried) which is slightly cheaper than the sirloin. Highly recommended if you are the type that doesn’t care about décor!

key notes: great food, good value. friendly service. I went in for a late lunch around 2:30. It was empty. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, and my friend got the pork chops. Both were delicious! The gravy was unbelievably creamy. The owner was very friendly and checked on us a few times to see how the food was and if we needed anything. Great spot!

I haven’t gotten my food yet, but the service is horrible! I asked for extra napkins for my 4 year old and the lady told me no, that I would have to pay for extra napkins. Are you freakin kidding me?

Five star for the food… Be VERY patient, there’s only two people running this operation. Sometimes the owner and his side kick starts yelling at each other in front of the customers. I would understand how that would make people uncomfortable but as a regular, it became accustom. There’s hardly table space due to the fact that they are so behind, the loyal«regulars» are used to cleaning off tableS, gather dirty dishes and cups to make room for others. For the food it’s worth getting a little dirty!

If you want to eat then avoid this place at all costs. Operated by 2 people, husband and wife I think. They yell back and forth so it’s kinda uncomfortable. Gets busy and crowded. I beat the lunch rush barely. The place was filthy. I ordered Chicken Fried Chicken. After waiting 25 minutes I asked about my order, the lady said it’s coming. At 40 minutes I asked for a refund and left. I wish I could critic the food but with such poor customer service I will never return. What a horrible experience. I really don’t understand why people are in love with this place.

Love this place! Truly a hidden gem is Stafford. The owner is friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious! Especially the sirloin steak, the combinations of seasonings they use are just right, not your typical salt and pepper taste, the rice is moist and the veggies are cooked just right.

Such great food! You definitely wouldn’t tell by the outside, and I’ll be honest when I first came with a friend I didn’t expect that I would be coming back. I now come here at least once a month. I usually get the cfc plate or grilled chicken plate with mixed veggies and rice. It’s so good and once you try it you will find yourself craving this place! All the tables have a red hot sauce that I usually drench my rice with. I would suggest taking this food to go though as when the place gets busy the staff begins to bicker not making it a comfortable space to have lunch.

I really like this place. The food is delicious. I usually get the chopped steak and it’s always good. Portions are large, and the plates are around 8 to 10 dollars. Service is friendly, but pretty slow, so call your order in and pick it up!

By definition, this is a hole in the wall place for lunch. Grilled/fried catfish are freshly made and delicious. Same goes for the chicken fried chicken. The foods are basic and nothing fancy about them. But they are FRESH, GOOD, and CHEAP! And that’s all it matters.

I love the food here. The grilled catfish with carrots and green beans is my go-to meal. It’s incredibly tasty, especially with the table hot sauce! If you’re not so much into watching what you eat, the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes will satisfy you plenty. Five stars for the food; four stars for having to clean your own table during a rush, but only because it’s worth it. This is a two-person staff running the show.

I drug my very unwilling colleague here for a quick lunch since he couldnt think of a place to grab a bite on a monday. We both ordered the cfs plate which comes with two sides. I ordered the green beans and baked beans. He ordered the rice and mashed potatoes. The rice looked like a spanish rice you would typically find in a mexican restaurant. The place seemed to be run by hispanic staff, but the food was very white and homestyle. Prices are reasonable too. I will be back. Sort of an unusual setup, if you order a beverage with your meal, you need to grab your glass filled with ice inside the cooler behind you when you go to pay. They have kool-aid, I just love that.

Came here with coworkers for lunch. Very surprise how fast, delicious, friendly, and cheap everything was. A good hole in the wall. I would definitely come again. Btw, it gets really busy here right at lunch time on a Friday.

I called Milagro and ordered a shrimp poboy to go for 1:30. When I got there the poboy had gotten«lost in translation» and nothing was ready. I was parked right outside which was rare. I called and after being told Milagro had not ordered, I asked to speak with Renee. He said he would make me one right away. I spoke with him around 1:50 and Milagro came out around 2:!0. I gave her a tenner and waited. Renee brought out the poboy, we shook hands, he asked me to open the box and leave it since everything inside was piping hot. I did so and he left hoping I liked it. I am not a fried shrimp person so I ate half of it and the rest including almost all the fries was trash. Sorry Renee but I like the burger and pork chops better. But I did want to try.

Small area, home feel, strange staff that looks like they are calculating your fate in the back. But the food is pretty darned good and made fresh. Chicken Fried Chicken might be the best I’ve ever had, much better than that other place Houston Pressed gave the honor to. They do get really weird about charging extra for everything(Pico, bread. even the veggies cooked on top of your choice of food…). By the time you read this, they might be charging extra for each sheets of napkin or ice. Food: Chicken Fried Chicken– CFC is the best in town. Must Try! Grilled chicken– moist, tender and hopping with flavors. Chicken Fried Steak– Not the best I’ve had but it definitely is better than 99% of the other places. Not the friendliest bunch(That has now changed for the better), but the food is A+ Edited: back more times, the rude lady is no longer working there and still love the food.
