Really hit or miss. I’ve ordered beef chow fun twice, the first time it was great but the second time it was slimy and flavorless. The egg rolls and the wonton soup are good, the cashew chicken is awful. It depends on what you order but overall, there are better places to get Chinese takeout on Staten Island than this one. Don’t bother.

They used to be really good before they had new management. The food is ok, not as good as before. This used to be our go to place but I don’t think after tonight we will be ordering from them anymore. I called at 6:45, it’s not 8:40, still waiting for delivery. We called the restaurant and the person answering the phone didn’t even ask for a name, just said it’s out being delivered. Um, that was 20 minutes ago. Last ti. e they forgot some of my order. Yeah, I think we are done with this place… I really don’t want yo eat dinner at 9 at night… guess I’ll go make my son a sandwhich … to heck with this place.

You have to try the fried chicken dumplings, I never had them before but I’m hooked. I also ordered the chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce with brown rice which had nice slices of breast meat and the broccoli and brown rice were cooked perfectly. I’ll be back!

New Sing Bo is a go. We ate there years ago and once was enough. It was greasy and dirty. After a few years and new ownership we gave it a try. The menu is clean the food a pretty good and the service is right on it. Quick delivery even on Christmas ! I really love not feeling like a whale after I’m done eating my food. Soups are the rest of the dishes feel light.

i was worried about ordering with new management, but was not disappointed. i used to order from sing bo years ago and loved it. once we moved i did not order as much. back in the neighborhood again and was delighted to find the delivery was very fast. the delivery person was friendly and nice. the thai spring rolls were hot and oh so good. ask for another dipping sauce though. it is so good you will need it. won ton soup very light and not greasy. the veggie fried rice also not greasy, nice and hot and just delicious. I will def order a regular dinner next time. hope this helps. food was hot, fresh tasting, delivered pretty fast and reasonably priced.

Ordered ribs, spring rolls and pork buns. All good. Delivery came hot and early! Could have had more dipping sauce but a minor point.

I’m not sure why this place gets so many negative reviews. Nonetheless, I order from here at least once a week, if I’m being honest, probably closer to two times a week. The veggie steamed dumplings are constant source of enjoyment as is the cold noodle with sesame sauce. I like their pork fried rice because it isn’t overly greasy. My husband loves the bbq ribs and the lo mein. Surprisingly, the pad thai isn’t bad either, especially for a Chinese restaurant. It’s better than Forest Pad Thai which has to say something. I would go on listing the menu items which I’ve indulged in but you get the point. The place is good. Delivery is always insanely fast which is a huge plus.

I used to get delivery from the previous Sing Bo. This is the New Sing Bo. The new ownership has been operating for a few years. I started to stop by on my way home. I ordered the chicken chow mein and found it to be quite good. The few times I have been there I noticed something. The staff(mainly the young ladies behind the counter seem to think their. .. . doesn’t smell. Arrogant? Further, when they take an order over the phone they constantly make faces. So it makes you think. .. what are they thinking about you? Does it matter? Yesterday, I went in and ordered beef with brocoli. It was run of the mill. Way too many places around the area to put up with them.

i can hardly express my sorrow in words. i grew up eating here. literally once a week for about 10 years. we would get the orange chicken with white rice. nothing else. i must have turned a 100 people onto it. it was spectacular. had to order it no lettuce extra crispy thick sauce those were the magical words. i hadnt been back to staten island in a long time but i made my way there. ordered my trusty go to dish with the magic words. what came out was not the dish i had ordered for a decade. turns out the place had changed owners. the old timers retired and some new buck was running things. He had the facial structure of jackie chan, smelled of old english leather, and had the swagger of a chinese food gunslinger new in town. And my beloved orange chicken had gone the way of the wooly mammoth & z. cavaricci’s. you fools have no idea what you are missing. i have yet to find a place before or since to stand up to the old sing bo recipe. SO many memories there. I would take my high school gf’s there on dates. in 1989 i left an upper decker in the mens room on a dare. Once when joe prescitt chased me thru the hood to throw the beatdown on me because i pointed out how similar his face and a baboons hiney were, i ducked into sing bo, had my orange chicken and got the energy i needed to run all the way home. in all seriousness, i feel like ive lost an old dear friend. a friend fried to perfection, just smothered in a delectable tangy sauce and ohhh soo tender. orange chicken from sing bo you will live on in my memories forever. i will now search high and low for a replacement, but mostly high. if anyone knows how i can get in touch w the old owners for the recipe please message me… cash reward.

Sing Bo is a well established Chinese restaurant in Castleton Corners. Very typical medium sized NY Chinese joint — complete with Sino memorabilia and a fish tank with crazy looking fishes. The food isn’t as greasy as most small Chinese restaurants, and the lunch and dinner combos are a pretty good deal. $ 10 and you’ll probably be taking home a doggie bag. The service is slower than average(hence the 3 star rating) even with very few people. Seating is never an issue for smaller groups(2 – 4) but they only have two larger tables.

Work nearby and co-workers and I have been ordering take-out lunch from this restaurant for years. Food is always hot, tasty, and reasonably priced. This past week, I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce over Fried Rice and Corn Egg Drop soup for lunch. Ate half the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and by the time I got to the Corn Egg Drop soup, I was feeling a little queasy. Hours later, I was attack by symptoms of food poisoning… severe curdling and stabbing, twisting stomach cramps, on-going runs, fever, dizziness and nausea. One lunch caused three days of out of work, wishing-for-death pain, constant dizziness, and doctors fees. Beware of possible undercooked shellfish or funky tasting egg soup.
