Stay away from this place if you can — and I understand that they serve a part of the community that may not be insured through employers/etc. I chose it because it was close to work and I hadn’t been to a doctor since I moved to Stamford 2 years ago. My hangup was with my particular physician and the process that is akin to a game of telephone when trying to communicate with her. We talked about putting me on a medication I have previously been on and she agreed to call it in. I got to the pharmacy to discover she had swapped it for one with basically zero efficacy on me. Try it again, I said to myself. Maybe it’ll work. It didn’t help and the symptoms actually got worse. When I called to speak with my doctor, I was given a call back by a nurse. Who then relayed the info to the doctor and then it was the nurse who called me back to tell me what the doctor had said. Akin to a circus. I informed them I’d be finding a new physician and can’t recommend this facility to anyone who has another option.

I was referred here by my daughters insurance company. Prior to my arrival I had no idea this was some sort of health clinic. The place is very clean, which is a plus. My only issue would be the people who work here. The doctor I was seeing was Dr. Mathur. At first she came off very nice but then she became very opinionated. Without knowing us at all she came to many conclusions that conflicted with my parenting. She would have been aware of my parenting if she took the time to get to know us. I felt rushed and was told I needed to go «cold turkey» in regards to nursing. I was also told not to give my daughter apple juice. I will take blame for not being better prepared when it came to the vaccines. I’m usually on top of this stuff, but this time I was unaware of the blood test and 3 shots they wanted to give. So I decided to reschedule so I can educate myself about them! Shortly after the doctor left a nurse came in with a nasty attitude questioning WHY we were not getting the tests and shots done. I told her to speak with the doctor and then I ignored her. I’m an adult and she didn’t have to talk to us like that. I ended up canceling the immunization visit and am going to try a new pediatrician.
