Our broken washer is broken no more! I called for service after our landlord gave us their number. On the day it was scheduled I received a call from José who would be doing the repair. He was prompt, courteous, did not smell of cigarettes (it took a full day for the smell of our last repair person to be gone from our apartment), explained what was wrong, dealt with reporting back to the landlord and came back with the replacement part a day ahead of schedule. Very happy to have a working washer and with minimum hassle.
