The best Chinese food in North Staten Island by far. Quick delivery. They always get the order right and the food is just amazing. We like the shrimp and vegetable dishes. Always a good amount of shrimp. Everything we’ve ever ordered there has been wonderful Highly Recommended

Been going there for years, it’s closet to the house and yes, sorry to say, it is a dump. Usually order delivered. Walked there to order and pick up. Should have walked in the snow to the next place. Opened the door and the cooking smoke poured out. The exhaust fan must be broken as well as the heat. It was warmer outside where I should have waited instead of choking on the smoke. Shame, the people there are very nice. It’s not cheaper than the other chinese places in the area and the food is not at all good unless you’re drinking. Think White Castle. Somehow, the place gets an A health grade. Go figure. I swear this time, I will not go back

This restaurant is the closest Chinese restaurant to my home. I haven’t been there in months, because the food is typically not that good. There are other places that have much better Chinese food nearby. I wish this place would just close and get new owners that actually care about what they serve people. The microwave is used very often in this location.

I was quite underwhelmed by the food from Diamond Forest. The mister’s beef chow fun was mushy and bland, my shrimp in black bean sauce (extra spicy) was okay, and my MIL was disappointed by the blandness and lack of sauce on her shrimp with mixed vegetables. Despite the close proximity, I wouldn’t bother going back.

Just as suspected…
There’s a reason it took me 6 months to try a Chinese take-​out restaurant 1 block from my Apartment: it looked awful.
There’s no need to get in to the specifics of this run of the mill American Chinese Take-​Out Restaurant. It’s flavors are reminiscent of the bazillion crappy American taste-​bud focused Chinese take-​out places throughout this country. Sweet sauces drenched over meats, bell peppers, onions, broccoli, etc…
The white rice was very sub par as well. I’m not even sure how you accomplish that if you’re from China, but it happens from time to time.
Order from here if you will, but let’s be honest… this is just a below average Chinese food establishment.
2 stars for fair prices and an extensive menu that might bring me back when i’m high and looking for sugar.

Ordered in from here a few weeks ago. I have to say that the food was not half bad. I ordered the ‘grand mariner shrimp’ and tho the sauce was slightly congealed when the food was delivered, it was still delicious. Wait time on delivery was not more then estimated.
