In Style with Sia

I wanted to express my gratitude and share my story as to how Sia saved me on my wedding day.
On your wedding day, you want to look your best especially because of the pictures taken. Where I went wrong? I didn’t hire Sia in the first place.
I originally wanted Sia, due to a conflict of interest with a connection from my past, I thought maybe to hire someone else but use Sia for my husband’s mom, aunt and cousin. I was recommended to another make up artist who works for MAC and apparently did make up for celebrities — so, I went for a trial and hired this woman based off of the recommendation.
On the day of my wedding, the woman never showed up; after several calls and texts, I finally hear from the husband saying «you’re going to kill me, I put you down for the wrong day». As a bride, on your wedding day, you have no time to panic, I had to have someone to do my make up, my mother and 3 bridesmaids; what do you do? I called Sia, I asked if she could come to my apartment after working on my husband’s family. She said she could. My husband had his brother drive Sia to our place and in 1 ½ hours, she performed makeup for 5 women. So in one morning, she performed makeup on a total of 8 women.
Here is the kicker, she never did a trial on me. I told her what I wanted and she did a phenomenal job. I wanted my makeup to look good in pictures but I wanted to look like myself and not a woman with makeup painted all over. She gave me smoky eyes, fake eyelashes and the makeup was soft just as I liked. It lasted the entire wedding, including my lipstick!
She’s a pro as a makeup artist. At the end of the day, you want someone to make YOU look good — Sia did just that; she is also incredibly reliable and responsible. I received so many compliments and my bridal party was happy with their makeup.
One more thing, that makeup artist that worked on celebrities, she did a decent job but Sia did a better job and gave me a look I wanted and asked for.
