Our experience with the doctor was absolutely unnerving! The staff, starting with the receptionist at the front desk were some of the rudest incompassionate people we have ever met, we never felt that we were welcome in the doctor’s office at any given time. Katie, the head nurse whom I sincerely think that is an android was completely devoid of any human emotions. My wife dreaded calling her on the phone for each time she was confronted with her uncaring and at times extremely rude attitude! The whole staff gave us the impression that they simply did note care. Prior to our visit to the doctor’s office we had been trying to conceive for 3 years with no success. We were already in a very vulnerable state both emotionally and psychologically. When we made our first appointment we both felt elated that the relief was on the way that the doctor and his“professional staff” would put our anxieties at ease. Soon enough did we find out that nothing could be further from the truth …

After spending 4 years of my life in «medical mystery land,» I came upon Island Reproductive Services and Dr. Michael Traub through a recommendation. I can not say enough good things about this place and Dr. Traub.
I will start with the office itself. It is lovely, clean, spacious, inviting, the staff are all amazing, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, understanding and patient. They do sonograms/​Ultrasounds, bloodwork, UA’s all right there in the office, so you do not need to trek to a lab, which is nice.
Dr. Traub literally saved my life, and I love him for it. I spent 4 long years trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I had horrible pains on my left side that radiated to my back for years. I had frequent urination issues, and my pelvic area just hurt all day and night long. I was nauseous all the time, I was fatigued, I even had a touch of the vertigo. before seeing Dr. Traub, I had been to see 17 specialists for all different areas of the body and was met with the same answer from every one: «There is nothing wrong with you, it’s in your head. Go see a psychiatrist.» I had been for over 30 scans of every body part imaginable, my kidneys, bladder, pelvic area, liver, brain, colonoscopy, countless blood tests, etc. After 4 long years of this insanity, I finally found a Doctor who figured out what was wrong! I had a growth the size of a grapefruit on my left ovary and what looked like late stage endometriosis.
Dr. Traub performed laproscopic surgery on me in ¹¹⁄₂₀₀₉ and not only saved all of my insides, but rid my life of all of the insane pain I had dealt with for 4 years!
Seriously, I love him. He is amazing. He is kind. He is smart. He is just all around KICK ass.
Besides diagnosing mystery illnesses, he is also a reproductive specialist. If you are trying to get knocked up, he is the man to see.
