Was ok wouldn’t say it was the best. bake clams were very good… Service was slow. Cold Antipasto was ok, small dish with way to many olives not enough cheese. No prosciutto. Just American ham wrapped in a stale bread stick.

Still my neighborhood favorite, Nini’s is perfect, being just a short walk away from me. But there are those that come back once in a while from out of state. That’s what a nice, family ran place this is.
I am crazy for the Chicken Cardinale, but when I do decide to try something else, I am always pleased. The décor is simple and comfortable and the overall atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. A great place to enjoy some food, friends and good conversation.

After eating here 8 times, not that I want to but I can’t say anything negative about the place. Pat is a hands on owner. Service is top notch and atmosphere is quaint.
Neat and casual is fine.
I’ve had pork chops, veal, chicken and clams on different visits. Excellent portions. Always seem to take something home.
Family of 4, we usually mix of apps of all kinds. Again, nothing bad to say.
If you’re in the neighborhood, this is a ground ball. Traveling around Staten Island, it’s a good place to stop.
Reservations are recommended but not required. The 50 or so seating area (30 + 20 …2 rooms) can fill up quickly.

Love this place, wonderful Italian food at wonderful prices. Everyone I have ever brought here has raved about it. Friendly and helpful staff that goes out of their way to make your meal perfect. Have never left disappointed… its ALWAYS good.

Have been coming here for years now… They NEVER disappoint! The food is excellent, the waitstaff always friendly, owners always happy to see customers come in.
I can’t say enough good things about Nini’s. In fact, it’s been SO good, my wife and I DON’T tell anyone about the place! We keep it a secret to ourselves!

I ate there with friends for her husbands 60th I still think about how good the food was I am thinking about going tonight if all my friends want to also… The place is small not to many tables that is the way I like it… People are nice food/​service is excellent! Yes we went and everything was wonderful! owner even came over to tell us a few jokes. I added a few more pic.

Food is delicious! Homestyle cooking, service is excellent! Waitresses are Great! It’s a Nice little hide away. Great little place to get acquainted with that special someone. Let me not leave out the couple of after dinner drinks on the house.
Prices are great! Very comfortable! Only thing missing is a fireplace.

I’ve eaten here many times, but this one was one of the best, they featured a blissfull burger topped with sautéed mushrooms and Fontina Cheese and what seemed to be a Rustic Roll.
Well, being a burger master, It made the grade and surpassed my expectations. I would only ask the owners, keep mixing it up. Menu specials not only work, they can turn into staples. Good stuff, well played.

I’ll keep this simple…
The food is basic Italian cooking a notch or 2 better than a pizzeria. This is the type of place you visit for parm or marsala dish… Do not expect an eclectic risotto or a wild game dish.
What you can expect is homestyle cooking and a friendly staff. This is the type of place that brings you a couple of after dinner drinks on the house after your meal.
The prices are super low and the portions are generous. I feel good supporting a family business each time I go here.
