Simple and to the point. This deli has a decent selection. Good prices and great hours.

Bagels are amazing! This is a hole in the wall which makes it even cooler. Dozen bagels for $ 11, most of which were still warm at 12pm. They are so soft and taste very fresh. Friendly staff, overall great vibes about the place :)

I have been going to Plaza bagels for the last 37+ years. I live in Illinois now for the past 22 years and every time i’m in NY I still have to stop and get at least 3 dz bagels to bring home with me. An empty suitcase is a must to fill it up with the best bagels ever.

This is the best bagel store on the entire island. Bagels are usually still hot when you buy them. Never old stale bagels here. Very tasty veggie cream cheese. A definite go to spot for a quick tasty breakfast.

This is my local bagel spot. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The bagels are awesome. Usually fresh and still warm out of the oven when I go there. The couple that owns the place (not sure of their names, I really should inquire) are the NICEST people.
Whole wheat everything satisfies the bagel lover in me and the health freak.

Plaza Bagel & Deli Corp appears to be one of those local joints that engenders personal conversations between the regulars and employees in a non-​pretentious way. I like that. As the other reviews prior to mine note, this place also flies a low banner off New Dorp Lane and I got all anxious because I initially couldn’t spot the damn bagels (spoiler alert: they’re in the back in an old-​school looking, wooden self-​serve display).
The selection was pretty good featuring a lot of egg bagels with different toppings, something that is unusual as most places seem to only offer one or two egg-​type varieties, but my personal favorite is marble. Another spoiler alert, it was delicious! Perhaps they change the offerings up from time-​to-​time, so that alone warrants another visit.
A quick aside. There is a $ 10 minimum for credit cards so come with cash, debit card for the ATM, or a shopping list extending beyond a half-​dozen bagels, like, maybe a dozen bagels, you know?

My boyfriend is from New Dorp so he always shows me the hidden gems. Plaza Bagels looks like a regular deli but really it’s like a bagel manufacturer with hot bagels coming out all morning! Nothing like a freshly made bagel that you don’t even have to toast. The vegetable creamcheese is amazing, definitely the best I’ve tried. The workers are very nice and will always let you know when the next batch of fresh bagels are coming out if you want to wait.

The best bagels in town! This place opens super early & everything is always freshly made. The bagels are huge & stay warm, even hours after they were made. Any breakfast sandwich from here is worth a try, but if you like vegetable cream cheese, this is the place to try! The owners & employees are very friendly & do their best to get their customers out in a timely fashion. Being they open early, they close early as well. A neighborhood favorite!
