Valentina Bridal Salon

I came here last year to shop for my bridesmaid’s dresses. This was one of the first places I came to since my sister bought her bridesmaid’s dresses from here back when they were located in Bensonhurst. I felt that the saleswoman who was helping me was a little rude to my mother — hell no. I could not give them my business after the attitude. On top of that, she kept agreeing with every single thing I said just to get a sale instead of being honest. I left after a few minutes and got my girl’s dresses at Macy’s Bridal Salon by Demetrious where they had prettier dresses, a larger selection and the staff was far more professional.

This was my first bridal shop so I had really high hopes. When you walk in there’s flower girl dresses and mother of the bride/​groom dresses near the front desk. I was greeted by Daniella who was very nice and helpful. My consultant was running late (the weather was terrible out) so Daniella pulled dresses for me. Once my consultant came she put me in dresses, but none were my style. I wanted a very simple dress with no rhinestones. In the entire store there were 2 dresses without rhinestones. I think they need a wider range of styles because this place has potential to be better.

I went to Valentina to look for a bridal gown. I had planned to make it the first of many salons I would be visiting. Well, to my pleasant surprise, it stopped there; I did not need to look any further.
I worked with Daniela, who picked out several dresses for me to try on. I was a little hesitant at first at some of the choices, but figured, why not just try them on. It turns out that the first dress I tried on ended up being the one I wore on my wedding day. I tried on the others just to make sure but kept going back to the first one. Daniela knew exactly the kind of dress that would work well my with shape. She also helped me pick out a headpiece and veil that complemented the dress perfectly.
Before the dress shopping process, I was not looking forward to it at all. I kept imagining all the trying on and alterations and fittings and that just wasn’t my idea of fun. Daniela made the whole process stressfree and a pleasure. She is really nice, friendly, and professional. I had to cancel a couple of fittings and she was more than accommodating to reschedule. I highly recommend Valentina Bridal and Daniela. They made part of the wedding planning easy and fun. Thanks again.
