Waterfalls Italian Cuisine

I has been to this restaurant before, but only for parties, not the dining area. We went on a weeknight, and they were run a pre fixed menu during this time. Nice, friendly people, and decent atmosphere. Regarding the food; I’m going to be fair and say it was average. The part that I really disliked was the dessert; part of the pre fixe is the «dessert of the day». We were given a choice of cheesecake, or «strawberry layer cake». We got one of each. Turns out strawberry layer cake is someone’s left over sheet cake, including the sugar rose on top. Thanks guys. I’m glad we can help you get rid of that christening, birthday, or shower cake. 2 stars for their lack of effort.

Ate here awhile ago for a small party. It was very nice. Food was good, wish I could’ve ate something better because every party I go to only offers chicken and I hate chicken. Would try this place again. Nice workers

I just had my daughter’s baptism in their party room. The food was good and staff was so accommodating. I was very happy.

I did enjoy this Italian restaurant, not my favorite, but it was still quite good and worth the trip. The restaurant has a nice location, easily accessible, parking is easy with their own parking lot. The décor of this place is great, intimate, yet casual, with a small waterfall-​like structure in the back of the restaurant. The tables were nicely set. The staff was accommodating, although they hire so many people, that they were all just walking around the restaurant. The menu is interesting, but I think they should add more pastas and cheaper entrees. The cheapest meat entrée is $ 20, including chicken. They don’t have a large selection of pastas, which they could work on. They do have a large variety of chicken, veal, pork, and fresh seafood selections, as well as personal pizzas. They gave us some complimentary bread which was pretty good. The food took a long time to come out, although we didn’t have appetizers. I understand that the pizza which I ordered may take a little while, but we waited half an hour and there were only two other tables at 5:00. When our food finally did come, it was hot and plating nicely. We ordered a lasagna, which was very good, their cheapest entrée on the menu. It had sausages and meatballs as opposed to the conventional ground meat filling. It was yummy, although it had a strong anis taste. We had a Pasta Antonio, which was fantastic. The pasta was perfectly al dente, served in a light brown sauce, with lots of vegetables and chicken. The dish was balanced and worked. My pizza was amazing. It was a fried eggplant pizza, with fried eggplant over a Margherita based pizza. It was $ 13, and it was humongous. It could probably feed two people, regardless of appetizers. The dough was thick, a slightly burnt crust, and a ton of eggplant. The tomato sauce was excellent, the mozzarella was yummy, and the eggplant was crisp, cooked well, and impacted the dish. Overall, the experience was one that I would want to repeat again.

I eat at every place you can think of and having dinner at red lobster would have probably been a much better place to eat!!! I ordered a steak well done and received it medium rare I can say the staff was pleasant and nice will I go again maybe just because they probably were having a bad day if I do go again I will def put up a updated review

My husband and I are in the PA and NY area visiting family for the week and had to come here for a birthday/​graduation dinner a few nights ago. The place was easy to get to and the parking lot is ok. If you have a large truck (i.e. F150) then the lot is kind of a pain in the A** but there’s valet parking. Keep in mind that the lot can fit around 20 – 25 cars depending on how they Tetris everyone in there and what’s in there.
If you’re wondering about dress code it seems like somewhere between casual to dress. I wore jeans and a tee shirt because that’s all I had with me and I didn’t know about this get together prior to the trip. ANYWAY…
The interior of the restaurant came off as a generic Italian restaurant with no real wow factor or unique touch. Including the neutral color on the wall. Visually there was nothing inviting or that would make me want to come back (comfortable atmosphere, interesting style, etc.). As you walk in there’s a hostess sometimes hostesses standing at the desk welcoming people in, being as pleasant and helpful as possible.
The FOOD:
Cesar Salad: A light covering of Cesar dressing over romaine lettuce with a few slices of cheese on top. Ideally the cheese should be shredded or grated for an easier mix but no big deal. It was still good enough for a 2^nd and 3^rd helping.
Fried Calamari: A lightly breaded octopus ring with a marinara on the side. At first glance, the breading seemed a bit too light. As if the cooks took it out of the heat-​sauna a few minutes too soon (These seemed baked, not fried). The breading is a very light brown, almost a white and the flavor was lacking. Even with the marinara which also seemed to be lacking in flavor. With that, the calamari was cooked through and wasn’t chewy.
Baked Clams Organata: Small toasty clams with a ton of breading! These little guys looked tasty but the ratio of breading to clams was not balanced. The abundance of breading overpowered the taste of the clams making this dish disappointing.
Dante (Veal Choice): 2 breaded veal cutlets with a potato croquet, topped with a very light wine sauce. Visually, the dish looked inviting and tasty but the croquet was the best part. The veal you’d expect to have a little crunch because of the breading but every bite was soggy and lacking flavor. Even with the peas and mushrooms.
I wouldn’t come here again. At 35 – 40 $ a plate with tip per person for a party just doesn’t seem worth it.

Dined here with the family. Excellent service and excellent food. Classic Italian menu with lasagna, vodka sauce, etc. The calamari was delicious and fresh and the Lemon chicken was mouthwatering. The servings are all large so there is plenty left over for the next day. The atmosphere is a typical Italian restaurant. Wood, linens, etc. Not particularly romantic, more of a family place. My only suggestion is better music. There was no music playing when we got there. Would love to hear some Sinatra! Ask for Adrienne, he was awesome.
Wear: Suede shoes and a gold watch on a chain.

My lady and I went there on 5÷3÷15 for my uncles 80^th bday party!!! The food was delicious!!! Service was amazing!!! Definitely try this place out!

I’m not sure if these people ate at the same place I did but it’s open at odd times. Food is ok but staff is terrible. Known to be a front for some shady stuff. Typical SI Goomba place.

We have been going to Waterfalls for years. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Make sure you get the rice ball Alla vodka, you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant deserves no star… but since it’s not an option, I have to give the lowest rating available. We stopped by this place hoping for a nice dinner on a Friday evening. First thing we noticed was that the place was practically empty. That should’ve been a red flag. We sat down and the waiter was pleasant at first. We placed our orders and when my daughter’s meal came out, it was fine at first, the mozzarella sticks were tasty but then we noticed the pasta was extremely undercooked. Then when the rest of the entrees arrived, the mama lasagna was cold in the middle, the beef was so overcooked that you can’t even pick it up with a fork, and the salmon dish was undercooked in the middle. When my friend advised our waiter that her beef dish was overlooked, he was snippy and annoyedi. But he did accomodate and replaced her meal. Then when I told the same waiter my salmon was undercooked in the middle, he gave me such an attitude, and told me the fish is cooked right and then he picked up my folk and smashed my fish and said «it’s not undercooked… you see»! He then took my smashed fish away and brought it back 5 minutes later, still smashed and told me he heated up! Never again would I patronize ths place. I’ve eaten out in lots of places and I understand sometimes the chef has a bad day and I have built in tolerance for subpar food. But the least the waiter can do, if he is even to be considered himself a professional, is to listen to his customers’ feedback and try to accomodate. The way he smashed my fish with the fork was totally unacceptable… perhaps he felt he can treat me this way because I’m Asian and probably had no business eating there nor to be served by him. Well… he better get used to serving a more diversed clientele if he wants to stay in the business! I also hope the owner of this place is reading this review and makes the necessary adjustments.

Delicious food, casual atmosphere, the staff was very friendly, our waiter’s name was Steve and was professional, helpful and didn’t rush us at all. Would def go back.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. The service was impeccable. The food was absolutely delicious. The risotto is a must try. They were very accommodating with making my anniversary surprise.

I went twice to this restaurant. The food was good, the parking lot is horrible and the décor is ok. I would suggest trying it once at least.

Went there for lunch today. They have a good italian lunch menu. I got the Penn Vodka (excellent), italian tossed Salad (good), mozzarella en carozza (soggy). Portions were large, which I liked. The place has a beautiful ambiance inside.

Ive been coming here for years, the owner and his family and workers are great people. The quality, freshness and service are impeccable. Do not miss a romantic night out or dinner with the famiglia.

I went out with friends to Waterfalls Restaurant, three ordered the Broccoli Di Rabe Orecciette & Sausage, it seemed ok, the portion a little small for a pasta dish, and it was swimming in pasta water. Next up a Franchese Entrée, which made the grade, then there Red Snapper Franchese Special, served with Asparagus and a Potato Croquette, which went over well.
As for myself I had the Pollo Victorio stuffed with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage, served over a bed of fried (battered) onions, hot cherry peppers in a brown spicy sauce. I did enjoy this, but what a strange pairing. The service was very good, or waiter Nick was pleasantly professional, management, attentive.
But the décor, and the lighting need some improvement. And loose the rugs, in a restaurant setting they retain a tremendous amount and it was obvious. I wasn’t impressed.

Went out to dinner with family and wanted to try somewhere we had never been before and even though we’ve all passed by this place a million and one times had never gone… that would be our loss.
Service was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals and raved about the desserts. The only complaint someone had was that the calamari was chewy. Considering all the appetizers we tried and at least 4 or 5 different entrees, that is great news.

Had lunch here the food n service was great. There was a chicken dish with cherry peppers don’t remember the name. but was awesome if you like spicy food. Had lunchwith a friend and her daughter of 7years of age no problem brought out the kids meal first to help occupy her. Highly recommend this place for nice meal. Great place to wine n dine that special woman
