The hotel staff is very friendly and the hallways, common areas and rooms are very clean; however, I’m only rating it three stars because I found a baby cockroach crawling on the shower door. I was a bit grossed out and then realized baby cockroaches aren’t a good sign because that means there may be an infestation and more baby ones nearby. It’s quite unfortunate because I really liked the décor and the hotel in general.

I rarely stay at IHG properties for no other reason than the other hotel rewards programs offer better redemption for their points… that being said I had some IHG points to use an needed a place to stay so we choose here. I’ve been here before on business and never had a bad stay, so I booked it. It’s centrally located when it comes to food or needing to drop in at GSU. The fitness center was average but it did include a scale, the breakfast buffet was better than average but it did lack those Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls… Someone at HQ needs needs to look into that. Nice folks working the desk and the rooms were exceptionally clean.

Really clean and no complaints about the room at all. The staff was very nice. At check-in they had cookies but for priority club members, they had other things to chose from(nutter butters FTW!). I’d give 5 stars, but it was a little noisy with some people running around when I was trying to get to sleep since we had to wake up at 6am. Overall, a good place to stay if you find yourself in Statesboro. It’s really close to campus so I imagine that it fills up quickly when there are things happening around campus.

Very nice, it’s one of the new places in town if not the newest. My family always stays here when they visit. It fills up fast when Ga Southern has events and graduation so book early. Prices run about $ 119 a night. Nothing much else to say since it’s only a couple years old you can infer about the cleanliness, upkeep, and other factors.
