I stopped by the SPCA over the weekend just to check it out. I live in Albemarle and had never been to the Augusta SPCA. I was amazed by how clean the facility was. The smell doesn’t hit you when you walk in the door like it does in some of the other ones I’ve been to, The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to answer all of our questions. The facility wasn’t full to capacity, which is a good sign. The dogs and cats all looked happy and healthy. I would definitely consider adopting a pet from these guys!
