This shop is small and cramped and specializes in mostly clothing. I picked up a few items: a trade paperback book with damage to the cover and first several pages, a metal spice rack with most of the bottles missing and the three that were present were in poor shape, and a potholder. I asked for a discount on these damaged items that were overpriced to begin with, but got a firm no. The lady checking out ahead of me found stains on an article of clothing, but they would not discount it either. The clerk insisted she could wash it out. The customer paid full price anyway, but I heard no agreement that she could return it if it didn’t come out. The sign above the door says, «All sales are final». They do not take consignments, although I know I read online somewhere that they did. I think they should do a little shopping at some other thrift stores if they want their prices to be in line with others. Bottom line: Stop in and look if you’re in the area looking for a designer bag or something, but DON’T go out of your way. You’ll only be disappointed that you wasted the gas.
