I found this hotel on and choose it because of price and proximity to Dulles Airport. I just needed a quick evening stop to ensure that I’d be on time for my flight. The hotel fit the bill. It’s dated, a little dirty and not everything works. That said, the front desk person was polite, even thought he clearly needed help. We had to wait a long time in line to check in. The positive is that it has free WiFi(which is painfully slow and I ended up using shared data on my iPad). The rooms are spacious and my room had a nice kitchenette. The breakfast is free. They meet all the minimum standards for a hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again and will readily spend a few extra dollars to stay at the much nicer Hyatt House right next door. I’m giving them 3 stars simply because of the great price I got at . Had I pulled full-price, I would have expected much more.

I’d give 3.5 stars if that was an option. Stayed here for three nights. Spent most of the time working in the hotel room, so got a very good feel for the place: 1. Bed and pillows clean and comfortable 2. Free wifi — no problems 3. Free breakfast –eh, but it was free. 4. Microwave and fridge in room– convenient. 5. Wall heating unit– kinda loud, but was able to block it out. 6. Room size – small. Had to rearrange work station so I didn’t bump into king bed every time I pushed the chair out. 7. Work station – not the most comfortable, though not the worst, either. Had to take frequent breaks, but still manageable. 8. Atmosphere – older establishment, doesn’t have the«clean and new» feel anymore. 9. Staff – courteous 10. Noise level – some, including closing doors. Not terrible, though. I was in a room near the elevator, and I was able to block out noises, even though the hotel was booked full for one of the nights I was there. Overall, it did the job I needed it to do, though it wouldn’t be my first choice. For a low-key work-focused retreat, I prefer the Hyatt Place, but I’d be willing to go back here for the right price.

Update: In response to followup from Vanessa McManus, GM of the hotel, I bumped up my rating from 1 star to 2. She corrected the duplicate charge. She was also gracious to give back the room charge for the cancelled reservation, even though I did not cancel within the policy time frame. If this level of customer service would have been done in the first place, I would have had a much better view of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel on Saturday, June 20th, as we had a flight home on Sunday from Dulles. Upon arriving at the hotel my expectations were low, as the hotel has a bit of a rundown appearance on the outside. However, I was pleasantly surprised once we got inside. The hotel looked recently renovated and it was fresh and clean. We got our room and had issues with the key card, which was quickly resolved. The room was updated and very clean. For me, the bed was very comfortable but not so much for my friend who likes rock hard beds. We had the free hot breakfast in the morning, which was adequate. I loved the waffle maker! All in all, we nad a good stay at the Comfort Inn. However, I do feel that the price was a bit high, considering the Hyatt across the parking lot was only 7.00 more for the same night with a pool.

Awful hotel. If, like us, your airline gets you a room here because your flight was delayed, GOTOANOTHERHOTEL. There’s no food at night, so you’ll go to bed hungry. Shuttle doesn’t run on time. Staff is the definition of useless. Want a comfortable temperature in your room? The heater/AC sounds like a truck engine. Avoid at all costs.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn after my airline literally pooped all over my face and made me stay overnight in DC between connecting flights to Charlotte. Called the discount airport hotel service and this was my cheapest option. 70 $ for 2 full beds and a window half bed isn’t too bad. But it was just me, so it was a little wasteful. The shuttle was very useful. The beds were clean and well kept. I always check for bed bugs and didn’t see any. Staff was attentive and nice. They asked me to write a travel advisors review but I can’t make it work from my phone for some reason so I’m Unilocaling instead. Overall, not your most upscale hotel, but the service was excellent and I can definitely say that I had a good night’s sleep here.

Parked here for a week with a park and fly deal. Pretty good, shuttle over to IAD was great, and they offered a cup of coffee well I waited. Only issue was pickup. We took the red eye from Oakland, and it took two calls and an hour to get picked up. Otherwise it worked out well, and saved $ 5/day over economy lot at IAD

Beware, this hotel is horrible. The front desk person who checked me in gave me a room that was occupied, I unfortunately woke that person up at 12:30 a.m. The third floor smelled like an ashtray. I then walked into a freezing cold room that was infested with bed bugs which have left more than 20 bite marks on my feet, lower legs, and hands. The only blessing was that i did not have to spend more than 7 hours in this place.

Recently renovated Comfort Inn, tucked behind a much more upscale appearing Hyatt Place hotel. Check-in was seamless. Room was actually pretty nice. It was a suite, separated by a small wet bar. Large LCD television and a sitting area by the window. Bed was reasonably comfortable although the pillows were kind of lumpy. There were no power outlets at the bedside, but the desk had two. There was no outside noise, but there was a lot of hallway noise. Walls and doors were very thin. Very good location — around 2 miles to the Dulles airport. Personally I think the price is a little high for this property. I would pay $ 80-$ 90 per night here, but not more. There are higher quality options nearby. Still, this was adequate. One point. Found a large, grey bug crawling along the desk prior to checkout. I took some photos and showed the front desk. They seemed completely disinterested. So, I forwarded the photos to Choice customer service.

My dad and I stayed recently and were very impressed with the attention and service we received. The friendly staff assisted us at every turn with the shuttle service and the limo service in the lobby was also outstanding.
