A very rude and pushy older gentleman at the cash register tried to coerce me into buying a chewable calcium supplement(I was there buying something totally unrelated) that I had taken a free sample that he had offered me even though I told him I already had a calcium supplement that worked just fine for me(not that that made him relent) and then tried to goad me into signing up for a GNC card by lying to me and telling me that it was«mandatory» that I give him my email and got upset and yelled at me when I said I didn’t want to, I just wanted to buy for my supplement and be on my way. He finally relented when I told him I thought he was lying about having to give my email address in order to make the purchase(and no, not even for any kind of discount. He was telling me that I just had to sign up for a card and HAD to give him my email address just to make the purchase). Never shop at a place where management(this gentleman seemed to be in some kind of franchisee/owner/management position) is unappreciative of your business to the point where they try to FORCE you into buying even more. Is it not good enough for you that I’m willingly buying something from your store in the first place that you feel the need to lie to me and yell at me to bump my bill up even more? You may get an extra few dollars in the short term(except he didn’t) at the expense of ALL of my future business in the long run. I don’t understand how some people who fail to understand such basic tenets of customer relations are still in business.

I like this location the most because they always have the items that I need, it’s very convenient for me because it’s next to Giant and the Bank It’s clean and we’ll stocked, but for some strange reason every time I come here there’s a new person working, maybe they’re Temps or GNC has a high turnover ratio, but no matter who’s here when I come they are very informative
