The Greene Turtle

I came here with a friend on a Thursday night which they do a trivia night. We ordered the crab dip which was a slight disappointment. It comes with warm soft pretzel sticks which were good just the sip itself was ok. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sand which was drenched in sauce otherwise it was ok. you have to pay an extra dollar for regular fries aNd 1.99 for sweet potato fries because they originally come with chips.
My friend did not like the first sandwich and the management was helpful and madd her a brand new meal for free.

Had an office lunch party here for 15 and service was fast. The food was good and not salty like other bars. I usually get the Cobb salad which is huge and consistently fresh.

Happy to have hit happy hour for half off appetizers. Wasn’t really hungry so i snacked on old bay seasoned edamame. Our server was so nice And always came back to check on my group periodically, refill our drinks. A+ server. Everyone’s food arrived on time, didn’t seem like we waited long, restroom was really clean. Especially enjoyed that it wasn’t loud, we can watch the basketball game and hear each other speaks. I like that it wasn’t over crowded and we had a good waiter. Didn’t order much but my friends enjoyed their sandwich and fries, chicken tenders. The food here is ok. Nothing that really stood out to me. But service is superb.

Oh god this place is bad, me and my family waited 1 hour for our food while watching others get theirs, the food is good but not worth waiting an hour.

Always nice to know you simply take your phone off the hook, rather than answer customer calls and orders. Your phone has been off the hook for at least 30 minutes. #NOT SATISFIED!

Wow. The story gets deeper with a horrible attitude when your employee finally did answer the phone and get mad at me that she had «3 orders back-​to-​back.» As if that excuses a busy phone line for now almost 45 minutes? Even sadder, the restaurant apparently is so poorly run that it only has one phone line, no call waiting, and no second line. So customer service is simply not a concern at the Greene Turtle. Lesson learned. Never again. I went out of my way to try and order your food. But staff (and the manager) were not at all concerned after i finally got through 45 minutes later. You’ll see I’m writing this at 1:50 PM, well past the lunch hour. And I still have not eaten. Because the Greene Turtle doesn’t care to answer its phone.

The worse terrible service 45 minutes to get wings angry the actual cold really where they do that at. Smh then the manager acting like I’m wrong for asking why it took so long. And didn’t want to take it off my bill asking me if I want it to go, no I want you to take it back and off my bill. I came here to eat not to take it home and warm it up.

It was my first time and I love it so far, I might go there for my 20^th birthday! So far it’s my favorite restaurant. I love going to Red Lobster but I am so sick of their food. but like I say I LOVE GREEN TURTLE SO FAR!

Food is good and service is as well. Trivia night is a lot of fun. Overall this is a good place to take the family. The cost to value ratio is a little high but the food is always good. You won’t get great have to come back next week food but you will always get good food.
It is a bit loud most nights.
The appetizers are the best part of the menu.
Deserts could use a little work, they are OK but not the best.
Still a good place and the beer is cold. The Pretzel appetizers are out of this world!

There’s just absolutely nothing good on the menu. Like, it all sounds good, but it’s disgusting. I’ve given GT several opportunities, always thinking, well it’s bar food maybe if I get this or that, it’ll be good. They also are trying to be like an Applebee’s or something and have more traditional chain restaurant things on the menu now, but those are terrible too. My most recent experience involved a «chicken Philly» that was on a soggy bun and had a sad looking slice of cheese barely melted just draped over everything. LOL whut?

The food eh! Nothing bad or good. Very average. Honestly everything about was 100% average. What is expected. I would not go back ever again. I probably was better off grabbing something at the foodcourt.

Another great experience, you should try their hamburger, very juicy and the meat melts in your much. Me and my wife very happy. Service great and food very great.

Just had lunch. Sit in Cathy’s section if you go. She is phenomenal. Food was excellent and the service was impeccable!

I’ve been here twice and both times service has been terrible. Slow and staff pays no attention. Food is always consistently good, nothing spectacular but it’s good.

3.5 STARS. The crab cakes were very good! I also got the crabby melt since the crab cakes were so good. There wasn’t as much meat on there, it was mostly cheese and not a lot of filling but still ok. Just don’t be expecting the lump crab from the crab cakes. I wish I would have tried the crab Mac and cheese instead. I also had the spiked raspberry lemonade which was very good.
The bartender was not very attentive and I am a very low maintenance customer. I had to get her attention if I wanted something. She did not ask again after the initial sit down at which point I just got water and a menu. She was sitting there doing her side work the entire time and pretty much ignoring the customers.

Maybe they have good food, maybe not. I never got the chance to try.
I was on my way to the nearby Red Robin when I saw The Green Turtle and decided to give them a try. I walked in and waited for a while but no one sat me even though many servers walked by. After a real five minutes without greeting or direction, I sat myself. after a real 15 minutes of having seated myself in good traffic of servers but no service, i walked. No I have not been back though i’m not opposed to return and give it a second try, I was very disappointed and ate elsewhere that day.

Been here twice (not this location). I don’t recall my first time too much as far as what I ordered, but I do remember I went in a relatively large group and the service was good and the waiter was nice.
This time I went, I also experienced a good waiter. He was nice and efficient. He was funny and cool. I ordered their burger with bacon on WAFFLES with a fried egg on top served with side of hash brown balls. Yes, I said burger on waffles. It is… just amazeballs. I didn’t use the syrup dip because I’m sure the burger itself was heart attack enough as is.
My friend got the buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was just ok. He said it lacked a little spicy and flavor. The fries were ok. I’m not much of a thick fries kind of girl.

My husband and I stopped here this evening for some grub. I have been wanting to try the Green Turtle ever since we moved to the area.
First thing first was to order a beer on draft. We ordered lost rhino FacePlant but they were out. My husband ordered a seasonal winter ale. I ordered dogfish 60 minute. The server came back and stated that they were out of that too. Wtf! Okay so I ordered devils backbone and told the server if they were out of that to that I wanted Stella. Third time the charm and I got the Devil’s backbone.
Next after getting that settled we ordered fried pickle spears. This appetizer was on a point. It was crispy and hot.
Next came our meals which came out quickly after getting our appetizer. I ordered the beer batter fish sandwich with kettle chips. The sandwich was all bun and no fish. Where’s the fish? (Reference the 80’s where’s the beef?) my husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. The buffalo chicken was okay but I even think Wendy’s spicy chicken has more kick to it.
When my husband and I went to pay we were a little annoyed when we downloaded the app and the free appetizer code was not valid for 24 hours. Boo!

So I went back and had food twice after the response to my original review and the food has actually gotten better since Ive last ate here, the menu has been revamped a couple of times, I 1^st had the spicy meatball flatbread and the buffalo chicken sandwich and they were both really good, the 2^nd time around I had turtle tots and a cowboy burger, the burger was OK but I really liked how it was just enough bbq sauce and it wasnt all messy, the tots are deep fried hash browns stuffed with crabmeat and man I wanted more of them, I will definitley eat here when I go and continue to try food here

The food itself is actually 4 stars for me! But the restaurant itself is what brings my rating down.
The food and specialty drinks are great! Standard bar food with some gourmet twists.
The crab dip with warm pretzels is delicious and the spiked teas and lemonade are great :))
The restaurant itself can get a little loud in there and some of the tv’s were broken including the one at the table I was sitting at.

Hubs and I love it. Kids eat free and we go pretty often with them. I’m obsessed with the fish tacos. The vegetarian wrap is good also! HH prices are always good. Also if you register one of the cards on the table, you get points toward free stuff every time you eat there!
TGT used to be really bar-​y, but I feel like they’ve really turned around to be more family-​friendly.
