The Room Store

Have visited The Room Store in Sterling, VA several times and always walk away dissappointed.
I do not care for the location, as it is difficult to navigate through the confusing parking lot and isn’t in the safest area of town. As soon as you walk into the doors, before your eyes can even adjust to indoor lighting, a sales rep is always right on you. Every time, like clockwork.
It’s actually quite humorous to sit and watch the reactions to potential customers. The customers sprint once the sales reps start talking, some ignore them, but most run away as if they’ve found the greatest deal on a sofa and they can’t wait to sit in it.
I personally don’t care for their furniture selection, but I’m sure it has appeal for others. I once bought a kitchenette from this location and it took three deliveries before I could get one that wasn’t scratched or damaged.
Haven’t had a good experience yet. However, the furniture is moderately priced and you’ll never go unhelped at this location. Try it for yourself if you’re in the market for inexpensive furniture and you don’t mind pushy sales reps.
