Sam’s Auto Wash Express of Stillwater

I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 only because they let me go thru a second time. I paid $ 12 and my car was still filthy. Not impressed unfortunately. Even after 2 passes, it was still dirty. It’s as if their brushes are disgusting or the water is dirty or something. Also, the suction on their vacuums is weak at best.

Sam’s Auto Wash was quite convenient and cheap with a $ 5 car wash. However, I have had friends that had antennas and mirrors broken off and the owner didn’t have a notice up nor seemed to care. I attributed this to negligence on the part of my friends. But recently a truck in front of me had a large metal fence in its bed. The operator shook it but didn’t force the truck owner to remove it. In the middle of the wash i hear scraping on the passenger side of my car. The fence was pulled out by the brushes and it hooked in the brush. The brushes did $ 2500 worth of damage to my car. I got out immediately and tried to see the truck but was unable to. I immediately notified the operator to shut down and remove the fence. We filed an incident report and he said that they had camera footage and would take of everything for me. I call to check in and they start dodging my phone calls. I finally get a hold of the manager and he won’t do anything and he’s waiting for the truck to come back. But he has no clue when he’ll come back. I told him that i was told that I would be taken care of first. I asked him to be reasonable and he got hostile with me. I asked for his insurance so that my insurance company would handle it and he refused to give it to me. I’m hoping this gets resolved but if you care about your car, don’t take it here.
