Worst Walgreens that I’ve been with. This pharmacy is the SLOWEST. Avoid. At. All. Costs. They take forever to fill prescriptions. If they fill them. I have had a bad experience with them not filling a doctor’s call in prescription. Inside is almost as bad when trying to get a prescription dropped off or filled or picked up. I wish this wasn’t the only Walgreens in Stillwater, but it is. They seem like nice employees but the system is incredibly messed up. There is no way you should wait for 45 for an ALREADY filled prescription.

This walgreens is the most ridiculous mess ever and really deserves zero stars. With all the customers it would seem they could hire more than 2 people to run registers. Drive-thru or walk in, either way you are in for anywhere from a 10 minute to 45 minute wait just to pick up a prescription. The techs have on two occasions misrepresented the truth to me about picking up my prescriptions, which are controlled substances. My favorite misrepresentation was that according to the Walgreens tech in Stillwater the DEA had instated a law that a patient can no longer wait in-store for controlled substance prescriptions to be filled. I checked the DEA Web site and on their home page they had a disclaimer begging people to stop asking about it — that many drug stores started the policy and not the DEA. I have no issue with stores setting their own policies, but as a consumer I deserve to know it is a store policy rather than a federal law so that I may choose another pharmacy with polices more in sync with my lifestyle. After going 9 rounds with the store manager about the misinformation I gave up because he was treating me as a whiny drug-seeker rather than a long-time patron speaking to him politely and trying to resolve an issue. Needless to say I no longer use this pharmacy.
