I personally love this place. When I just want a simple good burrito, I come to this place. So far every visit is nice and gives me a weird but nice homely feeling? The owners are very nice people too!

Stopped in for lunch. I was looking for a fast food type place but this was not it. It was slightly slow. But also pretty busy. There’s not that many tables/booths — maybe less than 10 and they were all full. I ordered the mulita quesadilla, which a corn tortilla quesadilla. I only learned about it and had it for the first time a month ago. I really like this twist on a quesadilla and wonder where it has been all my life. However this version at this place seemed more deep fried rather than grilled so it wasn’t my favorite. But it was good and came on a plate with rice and beans and some salad. They also asked if fried was ok and what type of cheese I wanted — so maybe there’s options but I was too much in a hurry to ask. I also got like a white Mexican cheese and it wasn’t very melt-y. Very filling though.

Place is managed by family. Very friendly and attend to you quickly. The place could use some remodeling though. The food wasn’t the best, will only be back once in a great while.

I was here a couple of times, actually I was falling in love with this place, kind of old and rusty, but a nice family feeling, until I found a dead FLIE in my salsa! I throw up like crazy, my stomach still hurt a bit, to gross to give a 2d chance, if you like disgusting surprises that’s is your place.

Found this place because we were heading to the cheap gas station across the street from it, which doesn’t have a bathroom by the way. Headed in for a snack Friday before Labor Day at 4 pm. Restaurant close to empty, maybe 1 or 2 customers sitting. Anyways bf wanted to use the toilet and and then decided he was hungry. The tacos were $ 1.25 each and very generous in portion. Sampled the pollo, carne asada, and birria. Would of done the carnitas but they were out!(–star). Carnitas are my favorite. Anyways it’s nice and air conditioned inside the building, and the bathroom was clean. The booths they have aren’t bad either, nice and comfy. SO originally got«to go», but when I showed up seeing what he was up to and used the toilet as well, we decided to just to eat them there in the air conditioning. The staff was super nice and attentive to a gringo and a china sitting down in their restaurant. Gave us water and made sure that the salsa wasn’t too spicy for us, it wasn’t. It was spicy and hit the spot. Not the most flavorful salsa verde, but not bad. Bathroom for customers only. As for taste, the pollo was the most flavorful and tender, carne asada was a little tough, but good, and birria was also tasty. Next time heading through Stockton, would definitely try other things on the menu.

So to start off its a very nice resturaurant, the waitress was very nice, however my mother my friend and I got very sick after eating there. Our stomachs hurt. We called to inform them and ask for the money back an the owner got mad cursed me out in his way an told us to never return… wow great customer service we wont be going back there…

We came here for lunch because the Chop Suey place across the street was closed. Lucky us! Great Mexican food here without pretense… and all the futbol on TV you can handle! The Carnitas here are no joke… full of flavor, but not full of grease. I ordered the Carnitas Taco and Burrito; the taco was generously full of meat and fresh, crispy lettuce and tomato. A bit of cheese added a little saltiness, although not overdone. The burrito? Well, I barely ate any of it because I filled up on their outstanding chips and salsa. It made a delicious dinner, though. Not the greatest location in Stockton, but some great, authentic Mexican food. Try it!

To start off, this place is authentic. They don’t drown their food in that disgusting«gravy» that other so-called Mexican restaurants do. Their carne en su jugo is omg to die for. However, the last two times I’ve went I ordered to go. The first time(and I could of checked before I left) I got someone else’s order. Then they forgot to give me my flour tortillas(the tortillas are simply heavenly), this last time I went I ordered fajitas. What I got was boiled chicken with squash, carrots and what looked like onions. It was almost like they had scooped chicken out of chicken soup and called it fajitas.
