Kabob & Gyro House

One of the best eats in Stockton. Amazing food and staff. My favorite dishes are the combo plate (crispy), kabob sandwich, gyro, french fries, and salads. This place is a must try!

This place deserves all 5 stars! The food is at a fair and affordable price and DELICIOUS! Clean establishment and good service. I got the falafel salad and I’m impressed. The falafel balls are fresh and the crust is light and crispy. Sometimes other places serve falafel that’s rock hard. This was warm and perfectly crisp. My hubby got the chicken kabob sandwich and loved it! We are from Phoenix but if we’re back in Stockton we’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped in on our way to Phoenix, delicious food. Very deliciously marinated and cooked chicken in my kabob sand which. The staff was nice and if you check in you get a sweet deal, a yummy Pelegríno soda! So make sure to check in! Definitely worth stopping in and worth the money!

Excellent gyros and kabob! Most plates come with rice, salad and pita bread.
Beef gyro (can be a little dry and crispy but my hubby liked it)
Chicken gyro was very good. You must pay extra for fries if you want them.

I have been wanting to put in a 5 star review for this place because I did love it so much. I would always send everyone there. But I just had an awful experience. I went in after receiving a pick-​up order, because there was a mistake. I was around the corner, and going back was no big deal. The man at the counter seemed to take this personally and got mad at me. I didn’t expect that reaction. I am so disappointed they were mean. It makes me not even want to go back there or even eat my lunch. Customer service is so important I don’t know why they would act this way.

The Hubby and I tried this Restaurant for the first time and loved it. I dont usually like Hummus but theirs was Amazing. We will be back soon. Our new stop on the way to the movies!

Real quick. The plates are not worth it, but the wraps and sandwiches might be. They’re flavor combinations are better, and you’ll get the delicious taste of the chicken without it being dry. The tortilla itself is pretty awful, so if they change that, I’d stop by again. Perhaps try it on grilled pita.

Absolutely fantastic. So fresh and so good. The dining room was a little small, but there were alot of to-​go orders so it wasn’t bad. This is my first time here after visiting alot of kabob and gyro joints and this is my new favorite hands down. The salad I got on the side of my kebab sandwich was fantastic. Great customer service as well. I will be in very soon.

I’m so glad I finally got to try this place! I came in with a couple of friends around 12:30pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty busy. Parking was tough to find nearby during lunch time (street parking only so bring those quarters!) so we parked a block away. There was a short line to order so we didn’t have to wait long. There were still a few tables available (the place is pretty small but not quite hole-​in-​the-​wall as others suggest) and I only waited about 10 – 15 minutes for my food to arrive.
I got the beef gyro sandwich ($ 6.99) and scored a free bottled water for checking in on Unilocal (yayy!). I was a little disappointed when we got there and I found out that they don’t serve lamb gyros, but the beef gyros were really good! The gyros were juicy, tender, and flavorful, and they went really well with the tzatziki sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes (I asked for no onions). The sauce was so good I ended up stealing some from my friend’s plate (haha). The pita was slightly crisp on the outside and soft inside. I had a bite of the chicken gyros too. They were good but I like the beef more.
I give them a solid 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5 because I can’t give half stars) for delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices. I still prefer lamb gyros but I’d probably go here if I was craving Greek/​Mediterranean food :)

Gyro meat was crunchy & dry. No red onions in the gyro sandwich. French fries are not included with sandwich. Pray $ 1 more. They were nice and bright an extra basket. My husband wanted sauce on side, and they forgot.
Today I had gyro plate skimpy on pita bread 2. ¼. Slices.
Husband requested all salad no rice. He got half rice half salad.
Baklava and soda cans in same refrigerated cabinet as the raw meat. It was covered but really

They do the best meatballs. Anything you get will be delicious. I’ve tried everything. Not having a water fountains machine is kind of troublesome though.

Facilities are like a 7/​10, but this is in Stockton so that’s as good as it gets.

I had the Greek salad. Most tender lamb I have had in my life it literally melted in my mouth. The salad was a nice large size too and they were generous with the toppings.

Food was very fresh, very good. I could have eaten the gyro meat all day. Rice, sauce, meat, salad. All some of the best I’ve had.
I wish portions were bigger for the price, but that may just have been me wishing for more of the tastiness.
Highly recommended.

I ordered the veggie plate. Meh. It was okay.
The good: the pita was fresh and soft. The falafels were tasty. The counter guy was pleasant.
Here’s how it could have been better: give me a whole pita, substitute all that rice with salad, and give more humus and tzaziki. I suppose I should have just ordered the falafel salad. Alternatively, there could have been some sauce on the rice. I’m thinking like that white sauce you get on a gyro or anything to make the meal less dry.

Until now the best gyros I’ve had were in Greece, but this place has taken the title. I had the #17, Gyro Plate. Meal was plated perfect. First of all, it was steaming hot (cold food is a pet peeve of mine), there was a perfect balance of meat, hummus, tzatziki, salad, pita and rice. The house dressing on the salad was bursting with flavor. Gyro meat was heavenly.
The baklava was scrumptious, my mouth is watering just writing this review.
Service was friendly and the place was clean.
If I could never eat again, my last meal would be here.

Strolled in on this awesome Spring day just after going to see London Falling @ the Downtown Theater.
I ordered a gyro to go. The meat was flavorful, the bread nice and fresh tasting, the onions and crunchy water (lettuce) were crispy, and got my choice of a free water or soda with my Unilocal check-​in. Noice!
My only knock would be the meat. Although flavorful and ample, the meat could have been a bit more tender and less dry. I’m being kinda picky but I’d still go back to try more dishes.

I had Kobidah Kabob platter and my husband had Showarma plate. The flavors were on point, portion size was above average, presentation was fair. The service was what we expected, one man probably the owner, busting his rump cooking, taking the orders and keeping the dinning room clean. We will definitely be supporting this hard working business man and enjoying his delicious Greek fare.
