Mr. Martinez is the best! I’ve been going to him for a few years & my alterations are always impeccable & done on time. Even though I’ve moved out of Stockton, I still bring garments to him. Great work, reliable and fair prices.

5 Stars for service and results. I decided to bring my business to Mr. Martinez for his tailoring services by word of mouth. I searched several Unilocal reviews for the downtown Stockton area but after hearing great things from local professionals I was willing to give his expertise a chance. I brought him a suit that I purchased online that didn’t fit. I wasn’t expecting a suit that was tailor made for me but that’s what he delivered. I returned to him weeks later with suits that didn’t fit right that I only tailored pant length and now I have a wardrobe tailor made for measurements. Mr. Martinez takes pride in his work and will talk you through his process. I’m now a loyal customer and given his reasonable prices I’m willing to go the extra mile and advise Unilocal reviewers to give Mr. Martinez a professional chance.

I have been using this tailor shop now for a couple of years. I can’t say enough about Mr Martinez’s professionalism. He has done a variety of things for my wife and I, from the simple to the challenging. Each time the results have been great. I strongly recommend his services.

My husband and I were looking for a tailor and came upon Mr. Martinez here on Unilocal.After visiting his shop and having a few items altered I must say that all of the 5 star reviews are spot on! Mr. Martinez is an alteration genius! My husband and I have been on a crash diet for our daughter’s wedding and had a combined weight loss of 100 lbs. Needless to say, our wardrobe needed some major overhauling. Mr. Martinez made everything fit like it was made just for us. If we had found Mr. Martinez before I purchased my gown for our daughter’s wedding I would be wearing a Martinez original to the event. But alas, I will have to be content with having him hem the one that I have. :0(

Mr. Martinez is a pleasure to do business with. My husband and I took our son’s suit jacket in on a Tuesday, for sleeve alterations. Mr. Martinez had it ready Friday morning, as promised. The job he did was flawless. The price was fair at $ 25.00. This included removing the buttons that had fake buttonholes in addition to a ton of useless stitches that went around each button! Why do suit makers do this??? When we picked it up i was surprised to see all those buttons sewn back on and impressed by the fact that even the lining looked better inside! You can tell he loves and takes pride in what he does! When we got it home and our son tried it on, he couldn’t help smiling! It fits perfectly and he will look quite dapper for prom! Thank you Mr. Martinez, you can alter our clothes any day! Great service and craftsmanship is hard to find these days. We recommend Martinez Tailoring for anything you need tailored!

I had bought a dress off of the internet that looked great on the model but not so flattering on me. I needed a way to class up my cleavage heavy dress. I wanted to bring the openings of my dress together but not closed just to stay a little sexy but not letting the girls out. I didn’t want to put sheer or tape in the opening to hold it shut. He had never handled anything like that before but with some wire and years of experience he made my dress perfect! I will be going to him for all my alterations!

This is the best tailoring in the valley!!! He makes my clothes look as if they were designed just for me. He is absolutely wonderful, I am so glad to have found this tailor. I get tons of compliments when wearing clothes he has altered. One woman stopped me to say that my dress fit so well it looked painted on! Best Tailor Service I ever had!

Martinez Tailor. Shop is bar none the best Tailor shop in all of Stockton. Ive gone to them all. Nacho provides excellent customer service in a timely manner and if your lucky, may even sing for you. Nacho is an old world tailor having honed his craft over several decades and the end result shows! I took three pairs of pants in for my wife and when I brought them home she was mad, thinking he hadn’t done the work till she tried them on because his altering job matched the original seems exactly.
I go nowhere else for all my alterations.
