5⁄11 someone deleted my review… I just had the worst experience at this store. The manager JOSE is a complete CONDESCENDINGJERK! I tried to return some shoes and was told that new shoes just came in today and would I like to look at them for exchange. I said sure and the clerk took my bag and started to go thru the shoes I was returning to make sure they were correct. I went to the back for about 5 – 10 min to look at some other shoes. I found a pair and we to the front where the guy who was helping me had my shoes out and was ready to do the return and exchange, he asked for my receipt. I let him know it was in the bag. He could not find it and started picking up other receipts on the counter and checking if they were my missing one. Finally he said well if you don’t have it then I have to give you store credit. I told him that I knew it was in the bag because I had just checked that morning. He said I would have to wait for the manager… JOSE… I said no problem and told him to help the ladies behind me. Jose came in and told the guy that if I wanted to return the shoes I would have to take the price that they came up in the computer. I said no problem to just exchange the new pair and put the rest back on my card. He asked for my receipt and I told him it was in the bag and now its missing. He said«well if you don’t have the receipt then there is nothing I can do about it.» I told him that just a few days ago my friend returned shoes and asked the guy if he needed her receipt and he said no and gave her cash back. I didn’t even want cash just the 55 bucks put back on my card. He said well sorry, so I asked for his name he said«Its Jose do you want the corporate # too?» I said I sure did and then I asked for the other guys name. They gave me a long ticket and wanted me to fill out all my information. I asked why they needed my phone# and CADL#. Jose said Oh its because we are giving you a gift card. I told them that I didn’t feel good about giving them that information and he said well to get the card you will have to write refused on it. So I did, then I said well I guess I better keep this receipt with the gift card because there is probably nothing on it anyway. Jose said«well if you would like ma’am I can run the card for you now so you know the money is there». I said no because he was being an a** h*le and I went to walk out and he said«you have a great day ma’am»… He is lucky I didn’t go back in the store and punch him in the face, with his whole condescending attitude and rude way of talking to me. I immediately called the corporate office and filed a complaint about him. I will never be shopping at this store again. I know I don’t expect good customer service every where I go but he was so rude I couldn’t even believe it.
