Don’t go in for walk in appt place was NOT busy and still one hr left and the girl says they are with their last appt! Did I mention no one was even cutting hair! Smh my son just need a hair cut

The past several times I have been in there the receptionist have been absolutely rude, and have no customer service skills. I was told the stylist that I had requested no longer works there, but I saw her comming out of the back. I had requested a Manager, but none was available. The level of professionalism is way below standard in here. I will no longer return here, and I will make sure I tell everyone what horrible service I received

Never ever let Julie touch your hair!!! She doesn’t care. It was the worst haircut I’ve ever had. It was longer on one side than the other. She didn’t even bother to check whether it matched. She gave me some quickie layers. The end result looked like a hatchet job. I’m not even exaggerating. I got it fixed the next day at my usual place. I won’t ever be coming here again.

Great place for the whole family to get hair cut.

Update: The manager saw my previous review and reached out to me to discuss what happened. She was very professional and I appreciated her being considerate & sympathetic about my experience. We were able to reach an agreement.

I went looking for hair product this morning the girl was less than friendly or knowledgeable about the products.
It was a quick stop so not much else I can say.

I went in to this establishment 3 years ago. I was just trying to find some hair combs to do an up do for my very long hair. They didn’t have any. The service was attentive and I navigated the aisles pretty easily. I’d call first to find out product availability.

I got a pixie cut that was a bit longer in the front, cut by Violet, and let me tell you I LOVE MY HAIRCUT AND HER!!! She is sooooo nice and she takes her time to make sure that it is exactly how you want it. She always asks for your opinion before doing anything further. Along with that she can make some great conversations and is a sweet person to talk to. I would recommend Violet to EVERYONE!!! She also dyed my hair with a peacock pattern with beautiful blues, purples and greens. She did such a good job and I love my hair every time I go to get it cut/​dyed. IF YOU WANT YOUR HAIR CUT HERE, JUST ASK FOR VIOLET!!!

Kassandra did my hair and let me tell you. Love it! Highly recommended. She’s very professional! Last time I went, I went to get an Ombré. I was so scared to go blonde especially because I had virgin hair. Kassandra was so excited to do it. I love my Ombré and definetly am going to go back to her. I’m sure the other ladies are good as well, they all seem very sweet and good at what they do. However, Kassandra is amazing. Very Satisfied Customer!

I don’t get my hair cut or colored here, so I can’t tell you how that’s is. But I can say that the girls are very friendly, helpful and eager to assist in anything you may need. They have everything from makeup to shampoo/​conditioner duos. They go on sale about once a month so watch for the sale and get your Joico at sir G’s!

All I can say is do your homework before you go there if you are only going for beauty supplies because the front of the stores girl will NOT help you and truthfully, I don’t believe a word they would say if I asked because I’m pretty sure they are clueless about anything other than talking petty bull$shit and smack (that’s all I’ve ever heard them say. They certainly aren’t talking to me — the customer after all.)

Love Kirby. Very good. Detail oriented. Listens to what you want, but will also give suggestions upon request. Reasonably priced. I think around 20 – 25 for a cut and style.
I give it four stars because they do get turn over and they make the appointments so if your stylist leaves than you have to find a new stylist. I hope Kirby stays!

The first time I came here (a year or 2 ago) I went with Maria, and she was really nice, gave me a simple haircut for $ 13. (I had short/​medium length hair)
Second time I went was today with Kirby, she was really nice, I told her how I wanted my hair and she did a really good job. I told her how I had over bleached the ends of my hair and how they looked all nasty now because the ends looked like the texture of cotton candy. I asked her to cut an inch but she suggested a bit more because of the state it was in, but that she would keep my length. She cut it and I really liked it.
Then I asked her to cut my side swept bangs into rounded straight across bangs and she did it. I loved that she didn’t judge because hairstylists have stopped me before from getting what I wanted because they thought it didn’t go with the shape of my face.
I also asked her to be careful near my eyebrow area because sometimes I have long eyebrow hairs. I’ve had a bad experience where they chopped a good chunk of my eyebrow off and when I told her, she didn’t take it the wrong way. So I would definitely recommend Kirby if you want to avoid the hassle of hairstylists who don’t listen to you.
This haircut was $ 15, and I think it was because I had longer hair, I don’t think anyone beats these prices.

As a dude places like these scare me well not anymore, Shelly has been great, ive been coming here for about a year now and I honestly found a hair lady I can commit too. Calling in for an appointment has been very easy. The girls at the front desk are great as well. Thank you Tina, always making eye contact, Smiling, and letting you know they will be right with you if they are helping another client. So far everyone ive come across here has been super friendly, helpful, and inviting. I don’t think ill be going anywhere anytime soon.

I always get timely apointments. I see Lorrianne, she does a great job with blondes!
The prices are very reasonable.

I got a good hair cut but a terrible color and didn’t even get my grey covered which was the whole point of going. Even gave me brassy blonde highlights that I didn’t ask for on my black hair to «lighten» my black hair. Makes sense right? No. I asked for ombré got dip dyed hair with an obvious line half through my hair. Ombré equals fade sweets. My nasty highlights are about a 2 month regrowth length as well. Terrible. This took 5 hours to do this monstrosity to my hair.
Besides all that I’m pregnant and due at anytime. I called the front desk to get my color corrected and asked that since the girl that did my hair, wasn’t there for the next couple of days, if someone else could fix it. Not being rude or upset that my hair looks like trash. I explained that I’m pregnant and due in 3 days and she had the nerve to say well I had a baby 6 months ago so time doesn’t matter it’s going to come when it comes. Bitch, I was explaining why I didn’t want to wait I don’t need your rude ass telling me it doesn’t matter what asking you. It was an employee that fucked up my hair to begin with and I wouldn’t have to go back if she had actually been paying attention not handling other people with others «checking» on my color. Needless to say, I’m a dissatisfied customer. Pissed off with customer service and still waiting for a call back from the front desk to see if the stylist approves of someone else fixing her mistakes. I’m temped to just dye my own hair back and getting my 150 dollars back but for some reason I think they aren’t the refund type. Thoroughly annoyed.

I definitely try not to come here only if I need O.P.I nail color. And now that Mervyn’s is no longer in the shopping center I don’t stop in at all…

I am hooked on a higher priced hairspray that I thought Sir Gauuan’s would have carried (giving them the benefit of the doubt)… (it was a Sunday for God’s sake and the salon I normally get it from was closed). This young girl (with three different colors in her hair) was counting money and when I came up to the counter nothing in hand, didn’t pay me no mind (what if I was a thief?). So finally interrupted and asked for this particular hairspray, she rudely answered «I’ve never heard of that hairspray. you might want to check Sally’s beauty supply (SBS)!» first of all… Why did she assume it was at SBS? All because it wasn’t at Sir Gauua’s? Who made her the Hair police? I think she needed to be taken by the hair police…
Every time I have stepped foot in this store/​salon. The front desk girls have been rude and even more rude to continue talking about their drama while helping (if that’s what you call helping) out customers.
Ughhh! They are so annoying! Do they really think they are better than SBS? Their attitude is a major turn off!

Ugh I’m torn between 1 and 2 stars for each different reasons. Lets start with 1 star… I made an appointment for my daughter. She wanted a razor cut with side swept bangs. sorta like a emo thing. O baby jesus with baby jesus blue eyes. The woman who I completely forgot her name chopped her hair in a manner I did not understand. She wanted side bangs, she gave her bangs like she was 5. She wanted layers, she cut her hair so crooked. I had to say its fine just leave it cause I wanted her to leave my kids hair alone. She was mortified. I had to take her to rio linda to fix it… (Hair gone wild… amazing, read the review.) IDK this place is hit and miss, which leads me to my 2^nd review.
So I wanted a funky hair cut, cause after all, thats my style. I went with Nicole who is fantastic (this is why I want to give 2 stars but she’s gone and so is that 2^nd star). My heart broke when she left and did not tell me BTW!!! shame on her, she should tell her clients where she goes and make that money girl! anyways so i go in and this dude cuts my hair. I see his picture on the wall as one of the best stylist for the month so I trust that.
Good grief man let me tell you. He cut my hair but the style, gee wiz. Do I look like Im from Texas about to join a beauty pageant and my name is Gracie Lou Freebush? I think not, I had hair as big as Texas and I looked hella old and like a hella old stage/​pageant mom. I had to go home, shower and re-​do my hair before I went out. Thats $ 15 bucks I’ll never get back.
I will not be returning if Nicole does not come back.

The people are very friendly and social, just as expected. The place is crowded, the back is a fairly decent sized salon. It was my first time there and my friend reassured me it was one of the best. I took her word for i. I was told my stylist had been there for years, so she’s very experienced. Again, I trusted them.
On a bad note — I paid 80 $ to have my super long hair colored and cut. I specifically said, «deep reddish chunks/​teased and 2 inches off. Be sure it’s not too much hair. No more than 2.» She replied with, «Alright. I’ll trim it a bit.»
I went home and my fiancé tells me, «your hair looks f*cked.» I have a nice color. if you’re looking at my left side. The right side of my head had black and orange spots. If you look at the back, there’s an additional 3 inches missing. I entered the salon with hair at my hip; I left with hair that barely reached my breast.
My friend called the salon and they set an appt for me to come in the next morning to get it fixed. No thanks. 2 stars for having lots of beauty supplies with friendly staff.
