My wife ordered bacon cheese burger with avacado and the avacado was brown and had old lettuce she was afraid to eat it because she did not want to get sick and mine was over cooked with not much cheese and the prices are high

Go here on a day you’re in the mood for a real burger with a cheese skirt. I thought it was a little pricey ($ 9?) for such a casual dining place. Food and service were very good. I was told it’s owned by the same owners of the «Squeeze In.» So full I made sure to walk it off afterwards.

Not the best burger shack I’ve been to, and not the cheapest either.
Came here on a Friday night and there was no line and the restaurant is half empty. There’s a bar on the side of the dining area that you can order your beer before eating your burger.
I ordered a squeeze burger with cheese, avocado and mushroom. My date got a squeeze burger with cheese and bacon. Every burger that you order comes in a cheese skirt in addition to the cheddar cheese. If you’re not a huge cheese fan or only want a minimal amount of cheese, then you have the option of getting a mini skirt. The burgers come with regular fries and you can substitute it for garlic fries, onion rings, or sweet potato fries for an additional $ 2.
The burger itself was a little greasy than what I am used to. When I looked at my burger, the lettuce was all soggy because of the greasy.
Prepare to be messy! The sauce, mushroom, and avocado was dripping down my fingers as I tried to devour my burger.
As for fries, I’ve had way better sweet potato fries before, but I’d recommend the garlic fries! I kept picking at my dates fries and left more than half of my fries untouched.
I prefer squeeze over flips (it’s also in a safer area so that’s a plus!)
If I feel like eating unhealthy, I’d come back.

Had the pleasure of eating here for a birthday lunch. The server was wonderful and always attentive, the food was delicious and the cheese skirt was pretty awesome. Will definitely be back.

I was excited when I came back to town and realized they built a Squeeze and the need to no longer go to Sac. It’s still fairly new in town so when I went I really enjoyed the ambiance. When you walk in you face the bar and tons of bar seats, but there’s also plenty of table seating as well. There was no wait when we got there so we were seated right away.
The appeal of this place is the cheese skirt that comes with the burgers. The meat on the burger was okay, i’ve definitely had more patties, but it was still filling. The cheese skirt is a nice touch but can taste pretty salty. Don’t expect it to b easy to eat since it is greasy.
I also ended up getting the garlic fries which are a MUST. They were crispy and loaded with garlic and parsley. YUM.

This was a new place in town, so we decided to check it out. I’ve heard a lot of people say it was good and that they were known for their melted cheese.
(And I love cheese)
But, I didn’t really like the big piece of fried cheese on my burger.
Now for the burger it was good, not great. I’d rather go to five guys, or Market Tavern in Stockton.
But, it wasn’t bad. And there’s nothing I hate more than wasting money on bad food. So try it out & see what you think.

Great pub, yummy beers, nice staff and a very convenient shady patio so I’ve can enjoy a cheese skirted burger with her best canine friend. I love Squeeze Burger and Brew!

Nice atmosphere and pretty cool restaurant if you are in the mood for a burger. I love the cheese skirts on their hamburgers, and they offer veggie burgers which can be difficult to find in Stockton. Service could use some improvement, our waitress was a bit slow and had to remind her a couple times about things we asked for.

Everything was really good. I got the lil Squeeze burger with cheese and mushrooms and sweet potato fries as a side. Couldn’t eat all the cheese skirt, so I peeled a lot of the excess off, but the flavor of the burger was really good. All the sides are excellent, our group of four got one of each side. The garlic fries are some of the best I’ve tried. The onion rings are cooked well, so you don’t pull the onion out of the crust when biting through. They also have a good beer selection.

Let’s start with the good. There is ample space inside and out. Today the place was near empty at lunch — what?! We thought score for us this should have been a sign though.
The host? greeting us was very nice. Our server was great.
Food came quickly after we ordered.
The not so good — if you look at photos you will see the asparagus is very dark (over fried) and greasy.
The burgers came and first thing I noticed was the skirt looked overcooked … And very greasy not at all like any we’ve enjoyed and loved before.
This is where it’s a mix of ugly and good — Our server noticed my lack of eating said burger and offered to talk to the manager? And get the meal taken off.
We were told this is how it should be burnt looking greasy. The fries also were the same and I didn’t even mention that.
The manager? offered a replacement or another item but seemed unhappy about the situation.
So in the end my meal was comped — by a person with an attitude.
The server was still awesome as was the host. The 3stars were generously given due to the server and host and cleanliness.
Do they need to reconsider who they have cooking? Idk? You read the reviews go here yourself check it out. As for us after the attitude that not good food we will venture further for a good squeeze with cheese and hopefully not get attitude.

Second time going here. I had a bad experience the first time around. This time we went right when the facility opened.
The food was good. The fries were a little bit too greasy for my taste but again that could be me. We saw our server only twice once to take our order and another time to give us our bill and take it right away. The rest of the time the workers who were there were too busy talking to each other than paying attention to the customers that were there.
I like to give places a second chance but once again this one failed. Nothing like the mother store in Sacramento that I held dear in my heart. This will be the last time that we will come here. I hope that as time goes on it will get better.

Brought my dad in for his birthday. I had been recommending this place for over a year now. About time I actually got him to sit in over here and try this place. He thought the burgers were huge and the cheese skirt intimidated him. My brother also accompanied my dad and was trying the place out for the first time. My brother was more impressed than my dad. He ordered Jalapeños on his burger. This isn’t something I’d recommend, but he went for it and thought it was delicious. His favorite burger joint before hand was in-​n-​out, now he’s found a new place in town. Now if he didn’t mind spending x 2 or x 3 the costs, I’m sure he’ll be coming here more often.
I had the bacon cheeseburger again and my lady had the grilled cheese. Puns aside, she said it was cheesy. I was a little disappointed the cooks couldn’t crispy the bacon this time around to my liking, but the burger was still enjoyable. Pretty sure I just earned this place a couple new fans.

I came here for my first time for dinner last night. I was quickly seated and looked over the menu. Melissa came over and introduced herself and took our drink order. She brought our drinks out and since it was our first time there, she helped us out with our order. My niece, Alyssa, ordered their the 1/​3lb squeeze burger with cheese and avocado and garlic fries. I ordered 2 sliders with everything and sweet potato fries. My great niece, Saleia had the chicken strips and regular fries but they made her 2 sliders so we had them take it back and they made her chicken strips. There was so much food! Alyssa’s burger was so big, she ended up taking it to go. The sliders were great and just the perfect size for me. I ate one and my niece ate the other one. I liked it with the cheese skirt. It was different.
I came tonight with my nieces and my babe. My nieces and I came for the Stockton Restaurant week special. Yummy! Everything was great! My babe tried the steak sandwich his first time here. Loved it! And the garlic fries are the best, according to my niece!

Service: The server was great! She was really sweet. I knocked down a star though, because it took very long for the burgers to appear. If I were pressed for time, I would go somewhere else like The Habit.
Food: I ordered a squeeze burger with cheese and bacon. The cheese skirt was huge, but it didn’t really bother me and I didn’t mind ripping the cheesy goodness off before eating the actual burger. The burger actually held together pretty well. Some of my friends’ burgers were dripping oil, but I thought mine was fine. They gave a generous amount of bacon, which was nice. Bacon was in every last bite. My friends really enjoyed the bread. I didn’t taste a difference in mine and any other burger.
I was not a huge fan of my fries, and I love fries. I enjoyed their garlic fries, but I thought my own plain fries were deep fried too much and I felt like I could taste a lot of oil. The sriracha ranch sauce tasted mostly like ranch, which was a tad disappointing.
Overall, I’d come back here once in a while. The burgers are on the expensive side for me, but it’s also very tasty.

The idea of cheese oozing out of your burger gave this place great promise but in reality, it’s quite unappetizing.
My Dad and sisters came here for dinner on Monday night to check this out while I was in town visiting. We were excited to dig our teeth into a juicy burger with melted cheese dripping off the burger that we had heard so much about.
I ordered a little cheeseburger with mushrooms along with their sweet potato fries. The little cheeseburger I thought was the perfect size and was plenty enough for me. It was neat to see the burger served with cheese completed melted an inch outside of the bun. But frankly, it made it impossible to pick up to eat while hot. I ended up cutting the cheese off and just putting it off to the side. Which also brings me to the point that once the cheese hardens, it’s just not appetizing or tasty making it inedible.
I thought my burger was moist and flavorful with the sauteed mushrooms added but my Dad and sisters thought their cheeseburgers were overcooked and needed more flavor.
It was also a little off-​putting that our cute little waitress had two tables of guy friends in the restaurant that she was more interested in than anything else. She was friendly but not very attentive to us at all. Sad to say, I only gave her a 10% tip and thought that was more than generous.

Great food, great ambiance. Great for small groups to come and grab a bite and hang out. There are other options, like sandwiches and salads, if you’re not into burgers. Also, love that this place has a veggie burger which is what I have always gotten here. That’s a plus in my book as I get to experience a cool place like this. Also, yay for inclusivity!
Each burger comes with fries and a cheese skirt; you can choose a small skirt or the regular. The cheese skirt is so decadent *drools*. This place is definitely not for those of you watching your calories, so come hungry.
Got a milk shake one and was disappointed that it didn’t taste like the flavor requested. The excuse was that it has something to do with the powder they use. They should consider having seasonal fruit flavors using real add ins to the ice cream rather than powder.
I’ll be going back and will add more details to my review next time.

**Long story short**:
This place might be worth trying once for the cool cheese skirt, but definitely return for the amazing garlic fries! The burgers themselves are way too heavy, greasy, and super expensive. They’re almost double the price of In-​n-​Out or the Habit and not worth it IMO.

I really wanted to love this place but after a second trip I was able to come to the conclusion that this burger joint makes the best garlic fries I’ve ever had but consuming a burger here is literally a death sentence.
Squeeze Burger is situated right next to Jenny Craig, haha, and across from the Lincoln Center. It has a fairly nice bar environment and overall atmosphere. I hate the towels they give you as napkins though, they just look like dirty old rags and I’m pretty sure no matter how many times they wash those, they’ll never get that old dish scrub smell out.
The first time I came with my girlfriend we were both so excited to get our hands on some real comfort food. We were amazed by the garlic fries but weren’t too wowed by the burgers, especially their prices. Don’t get me wrong, the meat was well seasoned and not overcooked, but it was so greasy! I would not recommend adding bacon to this already very savory burger. The cheese skirt was definitely a novelty but I ripped off most of it and just nibbled on it as I had bites of my burger. It’s best at the very beginning when it’s still fresh and crunchy. If you let it sit, the cheese just congeals and becomes very unappetizing.
The second time I came with Mr. J solely to introduce him to the garlic fries because he’s a garlic fanatic. Seriously, he couldn’t even skip getting extra garlic on our first date!
Anyway, the garlic fries were once again, a hit. But this time as I consumed the burger, I was much more aware of how disgusting I felt afterwards. I think the first time with my girlfriend we kind of just ignored the blatantly obvious, that the burger was totally full of grease, so we could eat in peace and pretend the dinner was worth it. But because I already tried this place, I wasn’t as eager to just finish the burger. It was ridiculously heavy and honestly not how I want to feel after a meal, no matter how much of a «cheat» meal type of place it is.
So, in the future, I plan to just get a to go order of Squeeze Burger’s garlic fries and enjoy them with an In-​n-​Out burger.
P. S. Waiting for your specific server to ring you up at the front stand everytime is kind of annoying and super awkward. You’re forced to show how much you tip them right in front of them… unless you go back to the table, which would be even more awkward.

Squeeze vient tout juste d’ouvrir au Lincoln Center, ça rajoute une restaurant où il est sympa de déjeuner entre midi ! La déco et le mobilier sont très simples mais le lieu reste chaleureux.
Là où les burgers savent se démarquer des autres c’est sur la «jupe» de fromage que je suppose être du cheddar. Bref un burger bien Américain à essayer !
Pour les petites faims il est possible de prendre un burger mais plus petit (¼ lbs au lieu de ¹⁄₃ lbs): «‘Lil squeeze burger». Et malgré le fait qu’il soit «petit» il est largement suffisant…
Je n’ai pas pu tester beaucoup de leur bière, mais ils avaient un choix conséquent, surtout en IPA !

Fancy Squeeze burger that you can pair your food with wine and the price are more expensive then the other Squeeze Inn burgers in Sacramento or Galt.
The owners of this Stockton location is the daughter of the original Squeeze Inn from Sacramento and apparently they are a franchise company that are booming in California now.

Well worth it.
I am not a fan of the ‘cheese skirt’. Had it one time
at the Galt store and it was too rich and greasy for me.
But I really enjoyed the burger and fries today.
The burger comes loaded with lots of goodies and
a great bun that does not fall apart before you are
finished eating it! That’s important.
The fries were coated with a special seasoning that
make them different than other fries. A nice touch.
We sat at the bar to eat since there was a wait for a
table. It worked out well. We had a great bar tender
with a great personality that took good care of us.
The bar only serves beer and wine but it is a nice
setup.
I would put Squeeze on my burger rotation and
return again.
