not bad, there burgers are great, the chicken is good when hot, the manrger is great, the reason i took away the five star is b/​c i went there one day and the guy was doing something other than cooking and he didnt wash his hands, canceled my order. straight turn off even when wearing gloves please wash your hands

This place replaced the Jalapenos Taqueria and it’s nice to see something different around this part of town.
The menu is straight forward. Chicken and sides, and burgers. We came in for the chicken on this particular night. They didn’t have any family meals, such as chicken with sides. We got the 21 piece chicken for $ 18.99, which isn’t bad all, and a couple of sides. We waited a good while for the chicken because they were made to order. I don’t know if they normally do that or they just ran out of chicken because their warmers in the front were empty but I don’t recall if they they looked like they were used.
The chicken pieces aren’t huge. Not Churches chicken or KFC big but regular sized pieces. We loved the homestyle chicken and I half expected them to be dry but of course they weren’t. The juicy chicken isn’t overly battered but breaded and fried, so there isn’t a thick crust. ***See picture.
Talking to the manager, he says that this is a chain in New York and when we got our food he sent us off with a free side of mashed potatoes. We spent about $ 28 on 21 pieces of chicken, 3 large sides, and dinner rolls.
