I love their sandwiches but I made an order online to be picked up and I went in 30 minutes later to pick it up like the email said when they sent me a CONFIRMATIONEMAIL. I went in and they said they never got my order and were basically telling me I’m lying about making my order online or that I made it for a different location when the email clearly says MARCHLANEONIT. So I showed them the email and my order. Magically, they found a print out of my order that they had«misplaced». But if you know there was an order you’re supposed to make then how could you just lose it and forget about it? Mind you this is not even when they are busy. I made this order at 10:30AM! Just all around unpleasant experience.

Super friendly. Clean. Fast with our order. A lot of local places closed on a Sunday so we came here for a quick sandwich. Would go again.

This was my first time having TOGOS and now I crave it. I had the Sante Fe Salad and they gave me the perfect amount of dressing(I usually ask for more). I cant wait to explore their menue some more.

I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality of the food and, more so, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff and inside of this Togo’s. It’s in a little plaza on a street corner and the signage looks a little old, but the inside of the store is well-lit, well-kept, and organized. The staff was a bit overwhelmed by a large crowd at an off-peek hour, but they were doing their best. They were talking to guests while they made sandwiches and salads; they traded off on the register to speed things up, and they didn’t skimp on any ingredients. They also took the Unilocal coupon from checking in, so I got a free drink. All in all, a nice performance. My wife and I took our sandwiches/food to go, and ate it about 20 – 30 minutes later. It stayed tasty, not getting that dampness that some sandwiches get when you transport them. Togo’s always seems to come through. I’m being converted to a regular, if I can find ‘em. Oh, I had the pastrami. Don’t muck around with other stupid meats — get the good stuff.

I have been wanting a sandwich from here for a couple months and just never got around to getting it until yesterday. I understand they are under construction but the store was filthy! There was food on the counters everywhere and trash and dirty dishes and it was disgusting. If I hadn’t already started ordering my sand which before I saw that, I would’ve walked out. And the animosity between the coworkers was as clear as day. Unfortunately I will not return to this location.

My family comes to this location a lot for pick up because they have easy veggie options and gluten free tortilla wraps now! They always have super friendly customer service at this location, the ingredients taste fresh and the place is nice and clean. Tonight I walked in with my parents, fairly unaware it was pretty near closing time, but the workers helping us, Anthony and Shaliegh, were super welcoming and positive anyway. If anyone gets an A+ it’s them for being so patient with our orders and my aging father who(bless his heart) loves to talk up a storm with anyone he can. They got our orders right, my parents were delighted and I was well fed. Balance restored!

Togo’s is Stockton’s only museum of Soviet restaurant management. Visitors to the center get a first hand taste of Cold War era bureaucratic inefficiency which serves to illustrate the value of all the organizational innovations the last half century in our own country have wrought. In the first part of the experience, visitors stand in an authentic, Soviet — style food line while Togo’s bureaucrats stand around and chat with each other before drawing straws to determine who will continue chatting and who will be the unlucky one to start slowly constructing a mediocre sandwich for the first customer in line. After 30 minutes or so*(*9 hours during peak lunch time), visitors move to the counter area, where they see the classic careless, lackadaisical work ethic associated with members of the proletariat. Make sure to pay special attention to the comrade standing idly by the cash register while the other comrades struggle to keep up with the custom sandwich demands of the tiny, but increasingly frustrated, group of hungry customers. At this point, half day pass holders will storm out of the restaurant in search of an actual meal, while full day pass holders will have an opportunity to see a working cash registrar that presumably has been relocated directly from Red Square and is still labeled in Cyrillic, as none of the employees understand how to use it. Which doesn’t matter, because they have already forgotten your order and are confusing themselves, each other, and you by repeating incorrect orders back to you numerous times. Togo’s is an authentic and moving tribute to golden era Eastern Bloc inefficiency. I recommend it highly for very patient history buffs. Eat before you go.

Stopped in to grab a couple of sandwiches in between games in the regional softball playoffs at San Joaquin Delta Collage. This Togo’s in located right across the street on Pershing at the western entrance to the school. It was pretty busy with three sandwich makers. They do a brisk business with phone orders. I ordered my usual Pastrami and another meatball sandwich. Both were good. Plenty of parking $ 18

I used to go to TOGO’s a least once a week. Well things are changing. I went in last week and the line was 20 people deep. Which is strange given a Saturday after 1. Decided to go somewhere else. When there again(this Saturday). Wight people in front of me and I waited 25 minutes. The troubling part is three people making food, one person behind them filling up plastic containers, and one person in the back moving supplies around. I used to love the speed and quality of food. But the speed looks to be missing. I think the place needs better supervisors on allocating staff.

The first time I ever tried Togo was just the beginning of last year Jan 2014 and ever since then I’m just like screw you Subway it’s all about Togos now. I haven’t tried any of their sandwiches, not that it isn’t good, but it is because of my love for salad and I usually order salad wherever I go to dine for lunch or dinner. I would love to try their sandwiches at least once, but everytime I go to Togos I end up with a salad order because it’s just that good. Thank God CSU Sacramento has a Togo located inside their campus.

Togo’s has always been one of my favorite sandwich places. I swear by the number 2(Black Forest ham and cheese). Unfortunately my last few visits have thrown a few huge red flags. We even got to the front of the line after a long wait a week ago and left before ordering because the girl making sandwiches was coughing over and over again. She was pulling out her shirt at the collar with her gloved hand and coughing into her shirt. It was so disruptive she had to apologize to the customer and she said she had just gotten sick the day before.(So stay home do not come and make food. Or stay at the register on the side away from sanitary surfaces) The customer looked back at the long line uneasily obviously bothered like us by the girl coughing all over her food. There was another girl(the sweet red head) washing dishes to the side. She should have stepped in and finished the food. The previous two visits we were having our sandwiches made and someone was sweeping and the guy one time and the girl the next had to step back while they vigorously swept food off the ground. There was no line and I felt like they could have saved the dust from going in my food by waiting until the sandwiches were made. I have been craving my favorite ham sandwich but honestly feel like the standards have fallen recently.

I wanted a cold sandwich for lunch. So I decided to come to Togo’s. I never came here before. I only had Togo’s once in my life and that was back in 1995 in San Jose, California. Note: I never really liked going out to before: end note :) So I walked in and indecisive as always :) The front counter worker Jessica was very patient with me. Since I told her I’ve never been here before. I chose the No#24 Turkey and Avocado Jessica suggested I try it on Parmesan bread, since it’s her favorite. So I did and thanks for the suggestion. The cashier girl China was nice as well. Also remember Unilocalers when you check in you get a free soda :) 20 oz yaayyy :) Btw I bought some chips too. The place is very spacious, So I had no problem finding a place to sit. I sat down to try the sandwich out. Togo’s is very generous with it’s portions. I could taste the avocado with each bite. The turkey was delicious and the sandwich was filling. I’ll be back because, I noticed they have daily $ 5 specials. I had a wonderful time here. Vincent D. .*VD* Life is Beautiful*

Killer pastrami sandwich(wish they had rye bread).Way better than«Breadway» hands down. For a bomber of a sandwich the pastrami is king. The Stockton Togo’s is superior to all the rest in the area.

I feel that this was one of the best Togo’s I’ve ever been to. Now let me tell you why. It’s because of the restaurant’s massive size. Tons of seating all over the place. I concur with another Unilocaler, that this had to have been like a Round Table or some pizza joint before Togo’s took it over. Second, they have a good amount of staff on hand. I think I saw like 4 employees taking orders and one cashier. Practically every Togo’s I’ve been to in the Bay Area, only staff 2 employees resulting with a line of cranky people waiting to make their order. The lady who helped us was sweet as can be. I am going to miss that human touch that Stockton brings to the table. For sure a great place to support.

This was my first visit to a Togo’s and I will return. I liked the set up of this store– I guess it used to be a pizza place. There is a good amount of seating and they have a conference room which I found to be quite unique. I had a $ 1 off coup and when I checked in on Unilocal– I got a free beverage. They had to ring my order and my boyfriend’s separately b/c you are only allowed one promotion which was fine. I had a 9 inch turkey on sourdough w/swiss cheese– toasted with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and pepperocinis– TASTY! Their sourdough is really good– way better than Subway’s My boyfriend ordered a 6 inch pepper jack pastrami on white bread toasted with onions. The guy that made our sandwiches was very nice and conversational. My boyfriend usually goes to the one located in French Camp at a truck stop and has talked about how good Togo’s is. I’m glad after living here for 7 mths that I finally tried this place. I’ll be back– I have a punch card to fill so I can enjoy a freebie :)
