Awful book selection, rude staff that rarely speaks and helps. If you’re looking for magazines that only brain-​dead people buy, great place for you. If you’re on the island and you’re looking to buy a good read for the beach, I recommend heading to Avalon. Stone Harbor Book Shop needs to work on their people skills.

New owners this year taking over for the chain store that used to be there. Friendly service, competitive prices, and great to have a bookstore at the beach.

They have a good selection, but the sectioning is pretty broad, and it can get quite crowded. They do have some games and crafts, along with a local selection of books which is cool. The employees seemed really nice, but if you have a question you better be prepared to wait if you go in the evening. Get there early if you want to look around easily!
