Nice Mon Restaurant

One of my fav foods is Jamaican so when i saw the reviews on this place I had to try it out. I can definitely agree this place is authentic. I ordered the spicy curry goat and it was delicious. It was suppose to come with potatoes though and i probably had 1 lol. The plantains were perfect. Lord knows I hate over-​ripe plantains but these I could’ve eaten more. For my drink i ordered a freshly squeezed lemonade made with brown sugar. It was also pretty good. If your in the area and want authentic caribbean give the place a try.

Great place with great food. I wanted oxtails so bad today and this place is right down the street from my bakery, Pi-​bytes. So, I decided to try them out. I’m so glad I did. My food came out quickly and was super hot and fresh. I ordered the small oxtails but the portion size was more than enough. The cabbage on the side was seasoned and very tasty. Will definitely make my way back down there again.

Hands Down!!! This is the best Jamaican food in Atlanta!!! She cooks with thyme, pimento, scotch bonnet and much more!!! If you’re a REAL JAMAICAN you know these things can make a world of difference in the seasoning. If you can’t take the pepper then go to a commercialized Jamaican restaurant but if you want di real yard food then trust n look no further!!! I love this restaurant it’s the closest to my mom’s food and FYI my parents are Jamaican so I know the real deal

Authentic, hardy this is the small curry chicken plate, affordable and a true diner experience this is Jamaican soul food at its finest can’t wait to bring the fam!!!
This is the real Jamaican experience it looks a little rough on the outside but this is where you want to eat if you want that slap yo momma good Jamaican food!!! Perfect for those times when you want something different buy not too heavy!!!

Nice mon Restaurant serve the best caribbean food in the metro Atlanta area… And the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the ambience at nice mon is second to non… good food all the time.

It took a while for someone to come to see if a guest needed to be seated. Had to wait for 8 min in the lobby before someone finally came out from the Kitchen to greet me and seat me. This to me is disappointing, because someone refer this Rest to me and I drove from Union City to Check it out. Well the Food was Very Good, I had Oxtail & Rice & Peas it was Very Good, it was Original no kick up Seasoning The Food was Excellent.
Note: there was a lots of people hanging out in the Parking Lot. That should not be happening, felt kind of unsafe. But Overall the Rest atmosphere was great otherwise, great Food.
This is one of the best Jamaican Rest in Atlanta. I been to many but this is good Authentic Cook Food here. People trust this Revue. If u desire good authentic Jamaican Food Here it is.

I hate to give one star. The app makes you give something. Just walked in… And just walked out.
I waited up front for several minutes with other guests to be seated.
The employee was in the back. I was ok. I sat down at 7:54 pm. Waitress arrived at 7:56 pm. This is good… Right?
No! She said, «I won’t give you a menu because I don’t have much food left.»
I helped her to conserve the food she has. I left.

The food I ordered from here was delicious! One of the best. I love island cuisine, and this place delivered it with banging flavor!
Freshness, flavorful Very fresh fluffy rice, flavorful gravy on the oxtails so moist and the jerk chicken was amazing. Nice spacious place, with pics of a few famous customers who also love the food.
My complaint and reason for not adding more stars.
1. I purchased a
certificate and was told by the NICE Mon woman behind the counter, that she doesn’t take the certificate and hasn’t for 4years.
After my checkin and food purchase. I notice someone in another review complaining about the same thing. Had I known, I would have still ordered something, just not as much.
Thankfully the food, and service was great. I will come again Mon! :-)

Ok so the location is not the best but hey they don’t have competition and frankly they would kill it. Inside is nice and simple but their menu is the shining star! They flavor is there and the best part is they don’t hold out on the heat. I love places where I order curry goat and they warn me that it’s hot and if I’m ok with it. That just let’s me know they ain’t playing. I live in mableton and I really miss this place.

Out of all the different places I’ve tried around Atlanta I feel like their Caribbean food has the most flavor and is the most authentic. I even think they pakw their patties in house. Its def a mom and pop type place with a good atmosphere. I’ve dined in and taken out. I used to eat here years ago and now that it’s close to my sisters job I’m back. And like I said I haven’t found a better place around Atlanta since.

It was okay. Nice atmosphere. Good menu. I expected the brown stew chicken to be chopped and with gravy. It was whole and no gravy. The chicken was seasoned great. the rice and peas were great also. My daughter ordered a beef patty and she said it didn’t have a lot of flavor. She liked Royal Caribbean bakery’s better.

I’m still a regular after all these years! The food NEVER disappoints. My absolute favorite dish is the curry goat (see picture up top). The meat is always so tender & flavorful! I love that this is spicy like it should be & not toned down for «Americans» My daughter can’t get enough of their oxtail. It falls right off the bone & the gravy goes so well with the rice.
As a treat, we usually get the potato pudding for dessert. This has become a staple lunch on Saturdays!
