Absolute rip off. Their tanning consultants are far from experts and just want your money. I went in so I could pre-tan for a vacation. The tanning consultant convinced me to purchase the titanium level for a week pass and some over priced lotion ($ 158 total). That’s just a week pass, not 7 sessions. It expires in a week. She told me I could come back every day, even the morning before we fly out. That’s how good the S-bed in the titanium level is, you won’t burn or peel… she says. So I go in the s-bed for 9 minutes and the next day I am burnt as a crisp (I’m Italian, it’s not like I have fair skin). I had to take the next day off from tanning. So then I go back two days in a row and now I am already peeling. Not even sure I will be able to go back again before the trip. So I basically got 3 sessions and tanning lotion for $ 158. No wonder they have no refunds!!!

Coming from Manhattan– I like this place. The prices are decent. HOWEVER– the levels are kinda pointless. I can’t seem to tan at all unless I’m paying for the 2^nd to highest level. Where I use to go, you paid the price but I liked that there was one level and a tan garaunteed. I also have to pay $ 5 up charge anytime I try to use my package in Manhattan… which drives me nuts.
I don’t understand ther service complaints. They’re okay. I mean they’re not super friendly but they’re not rude or miserable either. They’re exactly what I’d expect at a tanning salon.
Sundays are a HUGE plus.

Tanning equipment and spray tanning is great but I cannot say the same for their service. I was standing on line for 10 minutes with only about 3 people in front of me because the girls were joking around with their friends and doing whatever they pleased while customers were patiently waiting. It looks like this place is run by a bunch of high school girls, definitely not people I’d trust handing my money over too.

Staff was ok. Brought a friend to get a free tan with referral card cause we were in the area working here doing promos. Love BB! I go in the strongest beds which are expensive. But free tanning Sundays are a deal!

This salon is pretty large. They just moved to an even bigger location not more than 200ft away. Some of the employees that have been there for a decent amount of time are really awesome and helpful. The guy than runs the place will remember a face if you’ve been going there for a while. The prices are decent for Long Island compared to their über-expensive Manhattan counterpart. They will try and upsell you but usually don’t feel too much pressure from them if your strong-willed :) haha
I like this place because I’m used to the environment and I know what I’m going to get from the people and the equipment.
**Tanning in beds or booths can cause skin melanoma/skin cancer, so be careful. I’ve never gone for a spray tan. but I should start.
