Denny’s

The food was pretty good. I had to send back my eggs because they were burnt a little, and I hate burnt eggs. The grits were very bland. But all in all very good.

Kids eat free on Tuesday nights! Of course, today isn’t Tuesday, so I missed out… ho hum.
What can I say… it’s a Denny’s…delicious food made to order after a long drive… all is good! And… she kept the sweet tea comin’! Woot!
I also sincerely appreciate the fact that this location gives a military/​uniform past and present a discount.

Absolutely disgusting. The entire restaurant smelled like urine, and it was frigid inside. We ordered the kids cheeseburger, the chicken fried steak, and the pot roast. The food came out cold, and it was virtually inedible. There were dead bugs on the table, and my daughter kept pointing out the two flies that were on the window.
I’m pretty sure I need antibiotics and a bleach shower after eating at this place, and I am hoping against hope that I don’t end up with hepatitis.
AVOID AND GO TO MCDONALDS.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty. The place was filthy with food on the floor, sticky tables and the bathroom was horrific. Made it hard to enjoy the mediocre food.

I really like this Denny’s it’s clean, and generally quiet.
All the wait staff is great, my favorite is Susan. She’s really great.
I don’t order omelettes «out» as cooks tend to over cook eggs. However, everything I’ve ordered from this Denny’s has always been very good.
If you tend too like the atmosphere too loud with more people than tables… The Denny’s for you is the Denny’s in Colonial Heights.

Great service! Good food — a lot for the price! Only drawback was the pancake puppies app came after the entrees. But the waitress said beforehand the first batch came out burnt and they had to be redone. I just didn’t think it would come after the entrée but didn’t ruin anything either. Waitress was very nice! This Denny’s is a good place for fast and good food.

After being on the road for around 3 hours returning from our trip, we decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat. After being seated, we ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. I ordered the house salad and an eight ounce USDA choice sirloin. The drinks arrived quickly, although I can’t say the same for our appetizers or salads. My salad arrived after around 20 minutes and the appetizers arrived 5 minutes thereafter. A bit of a let down as we expected better service. My salad was exquisite, I highly recommend the Italian dressing. Sadly, our waitress didn’t check up on us very often and partially served our table at times. She brought us a salad without dressing and one of our entrees 15 minutes after the rest of us received our meals. Despite our waitress’ errors, the food was delightful. My sirloin was very tender and delicious, along with the other meals we had ordered. It’s a great place to stop if you’re looking for a great meal on the road.
I would have rated 4 stars if we had better service. The food is just too magnificent to pass up.
