I absolutely love this pizza place! We live in the Raleigh area and once a year head out to the Emerald Hollow Mine for gem mining. A few years ago we stopped at this tiny place on the side of the road in Stony Point for pizza. I really didn’t expect much but was I pleasantly surprised! The slices of this pizza are huge. One slice is like two anywhere else. They use so much cheese and the pepperoni fills the slice. Definitely no skimping here! And as a bonus, the owner and his nephew are so nice and personable! So each year I make the drive with my kids to gem mine and we have we always look forward to stopping for our slice of heaven after at the Pizza Box! It’s become a family tradition. I wish they would open a store in the Triangle! So if you are ever in the neighborhood, don’t miss a chance to have this yummy pizza… You’ll be glad you did!
