I had originally worked with AVO to get replacement fence elements years ago at the Stoughton location– they had exactly the split rail type I was looking for, with the best price to make the replacements of the pieces that were needing replacement to keep our fence going for a few more years before a total replacement. Seven years later I was thrilled to see and AVO location nearby in Hingham –I worked with Jim Cunningham, who provided excellent customer service with a quick accurate quote for a complete replacement of the existing fence. I was looking for specifically for Locust post and hardwood rails– he was able to source the just materials what we were looking for-​with the best quality and the best prices, he researched these materials for us, secured the materials and was able to support our schedule, and have the materials ready for our installer. We are completely thrilled with our new fence– it is heavy duty sturdy and and will last a long time, and it’s rustic style blends in perfect our old 1727 building. Bought fencing material which arrived split down the middle. Requested an exchange and was refused. «All of them split eventually» was the answer.
